Katrina and Anita took the time to see what was important to me. My makeup was absolutely gorgeous, and I could not be any happier! My family and friends were also so happy with their makeup application as well.
Katrina and Anita also provided consultation about makeup application and products, and skin care routines.

If you are looking for an exceptional makeup artist, you have to book Katrina Hess for your wedding! Katrina really takes her time to get to know the bride. You have two trials, and as someone that doesn't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, this was helpful and made me feel more comfortable with what to expect. Based on this alone you should hire her... However then the ultimate bride's worst nightmare happened to me... Very long story short, I had an accident and got a black eye two days before my wedding! It was swollen and completely black and blue! I saw Katrina and she worked miracles. You couldn't even tell that I had anything going on. She did such a beautiful job! We had her and her team come to our hotel and do makeup for the whole bridal party. It was such a fun morning and a pleasure to work with her from beginning to end!

I worked with Katrina for over a year to perfect my wedding brows and it was well worth it! Each time I visit her it is such a treat. I usually walk out with several new make-up or face care items - she always has awesome new products! On the day of my wedding, I had a sunburn right in between my eyes that was peeling. It was a mess but Katrina kept her cool - working tirelessly to make it disappear! She was so professional about it and kept me calm. She did my make up for the rehearsal dinner as well and really listened to my likes and dislikes until we both agreed on the perfect look. She is truly an artist and if you choose to use her for your wedding, I'm sure you will end up going back for other occasions and eye brows as well!

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Katrina Hess for my wedding. I got far more than a beautiful make-up application on my special day. Katrina expertly shaped my eyebrows and started me on a skin care regimen months before the wedding so that I would look my best. I was always happy with my skin, but her recommendations for skin care made my skin look so amazing that my sisters and many co-workers and friends started using the same products.

Katrina scheduled two full make-up sessions prior to the wedding to experiment with different looks and colors. She was attentive to my preferences, such as color choices and preferring lighter foundation. There were no surprises on my wedding day! She confidently told me that we needed the more dramatic eye we had practiced given the rainy day and darker lighting. I just sat and let her work her magic. I LOVED my make-up. Everyone who has seen my close-up shots asked who did my make-up and said Katrina did a wonderful job. She also did the make-up for my bridal party and two friends. They were just as happy.

As an added bonus, Katrina is warm and so easy to chat with. Going to her make-up studio is like visiting a friend. I highly recommend Katrina for your wedding or any special occasion.

Katrina is a true professional. She is also an incredibly talented make up artist and eyebrow shaper. I could not have felt more beautiful on my wedding day and my bridesmaids and mother were stunning as well! I never like the way I look in photos and with Katrina's help I couldn't be happier with my wedding photos ( my makeup lasted all night too, even through a two hour first look). Katrina's studio is beautiful and she offers top of the line skincare products and brow shaping. Katrina truly cares about how you will look and feel on your special day. She doesn't just show up the day of, she works with you in getting your skin and brows in shape months in advance. I would highly recommend Katrina to any bride who is truly looking for an artist and a professional to make her look her best on such an important day!

Katrina did my makeup for my January wedding and I have to say- I felt more beautiful on my wedding day than I ever had in my life thanks to her. I started going to her for my eyebrows (which is a must- she is amazing) and decided to splurge and use her for my wedding. Her prices are what they are for a reason- she is the BEST in Boston, hands down. We had 2 trials, both of which were beautiful but we decided on one for the big day. She also did my rehearsal dinner makeup and it was probably the second prettiest I ever felt in my life next to my wedding day! She is a true professional. And yes, she will recommend lots of products and they are not cheap, but honestly every single thing I bought from her has improved my skin or is a makeup product that I use daily. Katrina is so talented and for a day as special as your wedding day I can't see working with anyone else.

Katrina Hess is the BEST of the BEST when it comes to make-up and eyebrows!! I hired her to do my make-up for my wedding on New Years Eve and it was an amazing experience to say the least! We had several make-up consultations that were apart of the contract however, Katrina (the prefectionist that she is) offered to do as many consults necessary to get my make-up just right! She is truly an artist and an expert in her field! The day of my wedding she showed up, set up and got to work! She kept me at ease and I truly enjoyed the experience! She truly made me feel like a bride!!! She finished my make-up, touched up my eyebrows without running overtime and it was a wonderful experience!!! I am so glad that she was apart of my special day!!

Katrina Hess is AMAZING!!! I was married in Vermont, but I live in Boston. Katrina travelled to Vermont with two assistants for my special day- she did make up for my 8 bridesmaids, two mothers of the bride and for me and everyone was flawless! Our guests couldn't say enough about how gorgeous everyone looked in our wedding- and more importantly all of my bridesmaids felt gorgeous and were thrilled with how everything turned out. And of course I was ecstatic with my make up...I only wish that I could look that good every day! Katrina Hess is worth every penny and I continue to be a loyal client. I guarentee you won't be disappointed..She's the best!!
