Choosing Katie as our wedding photographer was a no-brainer! If other couples are looking for a photographer who is accommodating, pays attention to detail, keeps you on a timeline, and is professional, Katie is it!
She was willing to work with us and find a photography package that we were comfortable with in our budget. She also helped us shape our timeline for the big day, and made sure that we kept to the schedule when needed! Katie is great at paying attention to small details, such as making sure all bridesmaids bouquets are even, and that necklaces and ties are correctly oriented. These little details take her pictures from 100% to 120%! Oh, not to mention, she was willing to drive from Minneapolis to Madison for our engagement pictures and wedding! :)

Choosing Katie as our wedding photographer was such an easy decision. When we first met with Katie, she was so prepared and made us feel so much more at ease regarding the whole wedding process. We loved looking through the photo albums that she made for previous clients, and it made us so excited to know that we could get our own as well. We first worked with her for our engagement photos, and Katie was such a trooper! We wanted some winter engagement photos, and the day we picked for our photos turned out to be way below zero! It was absolutely freezing, but Katie planned the photos and locations so well, and we had so much fun that we didn't even notice how cold we were! For our wedding photos, I can't even begin to describe how amazing Katie and the second photographer she brought with her was. They made the whole day so easy for us, especially when we had so many other things on our minds. Katie was so respectful, but also was able to coordinate all of our family and bridal party members well so that the photos went quickly and smoothly. Everyone was so impressed with how smoothly and easy the photos went. My husband and I are not great with posing for photos, but Katie knew exactly what looked good, and made us feel so relaxed and kept it fun. Our wedding also was way behind schedule and Katie was so understanding and made sure she stayed until after the first dances were over, and captured a few photos of everyone dancing. We can't thank her enough for everything she did for us. And finally, the photos are absolutely GORGEOUS!! We love them so much, and can't stop going through them. Her photos captured our entire day perfectly, and we really could not have asked for more.

Katie was amazing! I am very picky with my pictures and she was very open minded to capture exactly what I wanted. She took the time to understand what we wanted and did a wonderful job. She did not just do our engagement picture, but our wedding pictures as well and they were terrific! Always on time, very easy to work with and provided a great environment so the sessions were fun and light!

After seeing how effortlessly Katie was able to capture a close friend's wedding, we set up a coffee meeting to chat and browse some of her previous work. Right away we could tell that Katie had this intuitive ability to connect with us about the vibe we wanted and some of our favorite (and not so favorite) kinds of poses. She just seemed to 'get' who we were as a couple and what we were going for - and somehow she helped my husband overcome his fear of being goofy in public. During our engagement shoot in St Anthony Main, Katie's spontaneity and ability to adjust on the fly allowed us to get some incredible shots! But where Katie really stands apart, in our opinion, is in her sense for how to use lighting to add complexity and dynamism and mood to a photo. Katie was the only wedding photographer we looked at and right after talking with her we knew she was the one! She is very relaxed even when the schedule on the big day was running behind! She will get you all the shots you want, the classics, the fun ones, and all the ones that you will be showing your family for years to come. We could not have asked for better and really, for all the work that she has done and all the beautiful photos she has given us she is worth much more than we paid! She is so kind and truly wants you to feel comfortable and relaxed! We didn't feel like we had to pose for pictures because we were having so much fun!!!

Whenever I look at my pictures she took of me and my husband on our Wedding Day, I feel like I am reliving the whole day again!! Katie is affordable, super sweet, has LOTS of ideas (I am super shy and don't really know what "good" poses are!) and took over 1200 pictures that day! Both posed and lots of candid!
