Katie took our engagement pictures and they are absolutely FABULOUS!!! I'm so happy with both the way they turned out, and the actual photo shoot experience. She seemed to really "capture the moment". She was professional, yet fun to work with. She also had some great ideas for locations and uploaded the pictures quickly for us to pick our favorites for enlargements. Our pictures were perfect and we couldn't be happier.

I personally wanted to freedom to create my own wedding book. She provided me with all of my photos as well as the right to use them in production. Katie was a wonderful photographer for our wedding on Catalina Island last October as well as for our engagement photo sessions last summer.
For our engagement sessions, she was more than willing to travel with us to all kinds of unusual locations, and was excited to work with us on creating the vintage look that we wanted. She even gave us additional locations and time and provided props! She always had the most positive attitude and calmed our nervousness about being photo subjects. She also had a sincere interest in our story as a couple and always tried to incorporate our unique personalities into the photo. Her style is very natural, so we never worried about getting overly posed photos.
She came with us to Catalina before the wedding on a Saturday afternoon and spent the entire day with us scouting the island and looking at the interior and exterior of our ceremony and reception location. Katie is always willing to go the extra mile for her clients and it shows. When we asked her at the last minute if she and her wonderful assistant/co-photographer, Eva Lempert, could help us man a homemade vintage photo prop at the reception, she was more than happy to provide us with ideas on how to make it work. Katie was careful to cover everything that we wanted, and she went above and beyond creating some wonderful unexpected new images that were such a pleasure to discover when we visited the website after the wedding. I'm still finalizing our final set of photos because there are so many amazing ones to choose from, it's hard to decide.

The only drawback that we had is that we wish that we could own our own digital stills earlier (we have to wait a year), BUT she does offer a more expensive (but still affordable) package which gives you the digital stills after six months.
