My husband and I were super nervous about our engagements because we had never had our photos taken professionally. Katie made us so comfortable. It was like hanging out with a close friend! Katie recently took our 2 year anniversary pictures! We decided on Katie bc we loved the style of her pictures. We loved the candid feel and she made all her clients look so fun and care free. I can't say enough great things about Katie! I scheduled a photo shoot with her for the day that was supposed to be my fiance and I's wedding day (our wedding was canceled due to COVID_19). I warned her it may be emotional but that I wanted to still capture us on this special day. We drove from Illinois to Alabama and had a sunrise photo shoot. I actually found her through a hashtag on Instagram and knew immediately she was "the one". IT WAS PERFECT. Honestly, I never felt like we were even taking pictures. She made us feel like we were just hanging out on the beach which is uncommon because my fiance hates photos and getting his picture taken. My family even commented that they've never seen him look so relaxed or comfortable! I loved every photo she took so much that I didn't hire back my old photographer and hired her for my new wedding in 2021! If you have any hesitations, I'm telling you that hiring Katie is the best decision you can make if you want quality and natural photos! Not to mention I feel like we gained her and her husband Stephen as new friends!

I booked Katie for a session for my boyfriend and I just for fun (and because I'm obsessed with Katie's work- it's stunning) and it was amaaaazing!! Phenomenal, extraordinary, stunning, incredible, sensational, SO many good words to describe Katie and her work!! Katie makes you feel so comfortable during the session and guides you every step of the way. She is SO creative and takes extra steps to ensure that your photos will stand out and represent your love perfectly!! She truly captured my boyfriend and I's relationship and I'm going to cherish these photos forever! Katie was absolutely AMAZING! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photoghaper- wedding, engagement, travel, or just for fun! From the time I talked to her on the phone through the whole process and day of the wedding. I had a very laid back wedding that didn't follow a traditional day of timeline but she helped me to figure out how to make everything work! My favorite part was doing our first look photos at a different location (downtown charleston) the day before our wedding! It was so fun to spend time with her, her sweet husband and my husband and take pictures and talk and not feel rushed before the craziness of the wedding day! Day of the wedding she was amazing. So laid back and you could tell she had a vision with her pictures! I have received so many compliments about my pictures and I can't believe how amazing they turned out. They captured our love, our families and our special day. I wish I could have her take pictures of every life event! Her prices are VERY reasonable and worth every single penny!

What can we say! Katie gave us the engagement photos of our dreams. We were hesitant to have engagement photos done but we are so happy we went for it! Katie makes you feel at ease and captures the sweetest moments. She incorporated our dog into our photos and made pouring rain look like a dreamy backdrop. We can't wait to have her photograph our upcoming wedding! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Katie and her team were the absolute best with making us feel comfortable during all of our pictures. I really appreciated that component as I can often feel awkward taking planned pictures like that. We loved the work that she was able to create. She has wonderful ideas and is very creative with her photography. She is not afraid to think outside of the box or even ask for your input as the customer. She is super friendly and makes you feel like her long lost best friend! I would recommend her 10 out of 10 times!

Katie recently shot our engagement photos, and will be our wedding photographer in July. We had zero experience with photo shoots, but she made us so comfortable and we felt like we were friends right away! She knew how to direct us and make us look our best, but was also open to anything we wanted to do. Her photo editing is also incredible and so professional. Katie is a truly remarkable photographer who is able to not only capture those sweet in-between moments, but also make you feel comfortable enough to be yourself in front of the camera. We had our elopement shoot on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon at sunset!! Wherever you get married - she will hike or bike to get to a stunning location.
