  The Best Decision Ever!

  I can't say enough great things about Katie! I scheduled a photo shoot with her for the day that was supposed to be my fiance and I's wedding day (our wedding was canceled due to COVID_19). I warned her it may be emotional but that I wanted to still capture us on this special day. We drove from Illinois to Alabama and had a sunrise photo shoot. I actually found her through a hashtag on Instagram and knew immediately she was "the one". IT WAS PERFECT. Honestly, I never felt like we were even taking pictures. She made us feel like we were just hanging out on the beach which is uncommon because my fiance hates photos and getting his picture taken. My family even commented that they've never seen him look so relaxed or comfortable! I loved every photo she took so much that I didn't hire back my old photographer and hired her for my new wedding in 2021! If you have any hesitations, I'm telling you that hiring Katie is the best decision you can make if you want quality and natural photos! Not to mention I feel like we gained her and her husband Stephen as new friends!

  If you're thinking about booking Katie, DO IT! It'll be one of the best decisions you'll ever make! I booked Katie for a session for my boyfriend and I just for fun (and because I'm obsessed with Katie's work- it's stunning) and it was amaaaazing!! Phenomenal, extraordinary, stunning, incredible, sensational, SO many good words to describe Katie and her work!! Katie makes you feel so comfortable during the session and guides you every step of the way. She is SO creative and takes extra steps to ensure that your photos will stand out and represent your love perfectly!! She truly captured my boyfriend and I's relationship and I'm going to cherish these photos forever! Katie is so down to earth, a sweetheart, and just such an easy person to get along with it's hard not to love her!! I'm SO happy that I booked Katie, you need to as well!!

  Proposal & Engagement

  Katie captured the moment I proposed to my fiance. It could not have been more perfect. She made the moment magical and something we can always look at and remember. She followed up with a beautiful engagement shoot. Could not be happier. Worth every last penny.

  Amazing photos!

  Katie recently shot our engagement photos, and will be our wedding photographer in July. We had zero experience with photo shoots, but she made us so comfortable and we felt like we were friends right away! She knew how to direct us and make us look our best, but was also open to anything we wanted to do. Her photo editing is also incredible and so professional. We cannot wait to work with her for our wedding!!

  Katie was absolutely AMAZING! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photoghaper- wedding, engagement, travel, or just for fun! From the time I talked to her on the phone through the whole process and day of the wedding. I had a very laid back wedding that didn't follow a traditional day of timeline but she helped me to figure out how to make everything work! My favorite part was doing our first look photos at a different location (downtown charleston) the day before our wedding! It was so fun to spend time with her, her sweet husband and my husband and take pictures and talk and not feel rushed before the craziness of the wedding day! Day of the wedding she was amazing. So laid back and you could tell she had a vision with her pictures! I have received so many compliments about my pictures and I can't believe how amazing they turned out. They captured our love, our families and our special day. I wish I could have her take pictures of every life event! Her prices are VERY reasonable and worth every single penny!

  Captured my dream moment!

  I couldn't have asked for a more perfect person to capture our special day when we got engaged! My fiancé planned the whole trip as a surprise, and found Katie to use as the photographer. Not only was it a sweet moment, but Katie made it such a fun memory and captured the best moments! She is so talented and such a fun soul! 10/10 recommend!

  Katie is the best!

  What can we say! Katie gave us the engagement photos of our dreams. We were hesitant to have engagement photos done but we are so happy we went for it! Katie makes you feel at ease and captures the sweetest moments. She incorporated our dog into our photos and made pouring rain look like a dreamy backdrop.   Can’t recommend Katie enough!

  I wish there were more stars to give to Katie!I can’t recommend her enough! She truly made our day amazing. My husband and I were super nervous about our engagements because we had never had our photos taken professionally. Katie made us so comfortable. It was like hanging out with a close friend! Most of the time we forgot we were even taking photos. She captures the feeling not just the moment. Katie is incredibly creative and works any details or special things into her photos seamlessly. By the time our wedding came around I didn’t even have to think twice about whether our photos would amazing. We had complete trust in Katie. Everyone who sees our photos says they can feel the love my husband and I have for each other in photos. Katie has amazing gift for photographer.

  Quit looking through photographers and just pick Katie

  Katie and her team were the absolute best with making us feel comfortable during all of our pictures. I really appreciated that component as I can often feel awkward taking planned pictures like that. We loved the work that she was able to create. She has wonderful ideas and is very creative with her photography. She is not afraid to think outside of the box or even ask for your input as the customer. She is super friendly and makes you feel like her long lost best friend! I would recommend her 10 out of 10 times!

  Best Photographer to Hire!

  Not only is Katie the best photographer but she is such a sweet and amazing person to help on your best day! It was such a blessing to have her photograph our wedding. I truly love all of the photos! Its so amazing to be able to relive one of our best days because she was able to capture so much that I wasn't around for. She went over and beyond. I can't thank her enough for out doing herself! Not only did we get amazing pictures for both our engagement shoot and our wedding but we ended up with a new friend. She has such an eye for capturing the most stunning pictures that I thought I would look crazy in but I had complete faith in her and they turned out perfect. And a huge thank you for getting our pictures back to us so fast! I wasn't expecting them that fast! Do yourself a favor and hire her! She makes you feel like you have known her forever and makes a wonderful experience being in front of a camera.

  Katie is simply incredible. Her eye is amazing, she captured us in our 'natural state' and every single picture feels like a moment and not a pose. If I lived closer I would make sure everyone I knew used her. The most common comment I get from friends and family is 'these are the most beautiful photographs I've ever seen'. Book with her, you'll never regret how she captures YOU and US and not those people in that typical wedding pose. Evidence of her natural talent and true gift.

  Wedding photography

  I was nervous to book a photographer for my wedding in Charleston, SC for multiple reasons. First, I detest anything that looks staged and/or over edited. Secondly, I did not want to spend a crazy amount of time taking pictures, as we had a videographer there as well.
  Katie helped me accomplish both of these. Our pictures are absolutely flawless and NATURAL. She captured my favorite shots when we weren’t posing and incorporated our dog (who was in the wedding.) I felt so comfortable with her and realized that good photography does reflect a relationship built between the couple and the photographer. She also worked very well with the videographer for only meeting him the day of. I feel like she knew us so well and captured what I wanted from our day. I highly recommend her services.   Katie is a truly remarkable photographer who is able to not only capture those sweet in-between moments, but also make you feel comfortable enough to be yourself in front of the camera. I can't wait for her to come through the SW again so she can photograph my family. Also, I love that she is down for an adventure!! We had our elopement shoot on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon at sunset!! Wherever you get married - she will hike or bike to get to a stunning location.

As someone who NEVER likes pictures of myself, I absolutely loved every single one! She knows just how to get you out of your comfort zone and have a blast while doing it ! We never stopped laughing the entire time ♥️ Katie’s personality is so sweet and inviting, which made the shoot so easy ! On top of that, this chick has some mad photo skills and a vision that out of this world! Literally so talented !! You will not be disappointed!

  The best experience & investment

  Katie is your girl if you want images that tell you a story, YOUR story. She doesn’t settle for the stiff and awkward poses your last photographer made you do. In fact, it won’t even feel like a typical photo shoot. She gives you an experience. And that right there guys, is a game changer!! From crashing into each others arms and laughing hysterically to slowing down and answering questions as to why you love the person you’re in front of. She will bring the emotion out of ya, for sure. And, isn’t that what we truly want to show our grandkids one day? The photographs that speak a 1000 words? I know I did and I will cherish not only the images displayed on my walls but also the wonderful experience she gave my husband and I.

  Engagement Photos

  We did our engagement photos with Katie in Iceland and it was AMAZING. She exceeded any expectations that we had for our session. She helped us relax and just be ourselves, which really shows in our photos. I highly recommend her to everyone I know and WILL be using her again myself!

  one in a million

  Katie is an absolutely incredible photographer. Anyone can grab a nice camera and make something look nice, but it’s very rare to find someone like her. She’s more than just paying for a photographer. Not only does she have the eye to capture the most breathtaking moments, she has a way of making everyone involved feel completely 100% comfortable while doing it. When I got the photos back of me and my husband, I was able to actually feel the emotions I feel when I’m with him. I’m not sure how a human is able to capture that emotion through a photo, but Katie does it, every single time. Also, her editing is so rare to find as well. The colors make the moments feel warm and lovely!! I would recommend this angel to anyone at anytime with full confidence that she will give you EXACTLY what you’re looking for!!!

  Katie recently took our 2 year anniversary pictures! We decided on Katie bc we loved the style of her pictures. We loved the candid feel and she made all her clients look so fun and care free. She was incredible to say the least. Katie made the picture taking process easy and fun. My husband is not a fan of pictures, but Katie brings a fun vibe of music and movement to ease the awkwardness. Katie is the perfect hype girl to make you feel special and comfortable while in front of the camera! Our pictures were incredible and you can literally see our love shine through in the way no other pictures have before! All thanks to Katie and her stellar skills! Thanks Katie!

  Captured perfectly

  Katie is able to capture the moment in such a special and real way. As a couple, we had so much fun with her (many belly laughs) and we felt so comfortable. There were several moments when it really felt like it was just us, but she was there to capture every part of it. All of the photos tell a story and that’s something we will always cherish. We couldn’t be happier, thank you!!

  She has an eye!!

  Katie has an incredible eye for capturing the most perfect moments!! We hired her for our gender reveal and she captured the most incredible, candid moments. They’re some of my favorite pictures ever taken! She is very laid back and made us feel immediately comfortable in front of the camera. We are so grateful for Katie’s talents and would hire her again anytime!
