Experience Kate’s passion for photography began as a teenager when she received her first photography training by an award-winning artist. After spending three years learning and growing from him, she graduated on to pursue a career in photojournalism. Once settled in Portland, Kate decided to focus on weddings and family portraiture.

Absolutely Wonderful Team!!!
We had the pleasure of working with Gabby and Dom on our wedding. From the first zoom meeting, Dom was very nice and professional, he explained the whole process. We received a beautiful welcome package after booking. Communication was quick and helpful leading up to the wedding day. They arrived early to get the details shots. Both Dom and Gabby were extremely professional, friendly and made us feel at ease during the photoshoot. They delivered the Sneak Peak photos so quick after the wedding, they are truly wonderful to work with. We highly recommend them!

Spectacular Engagement and Wedding Photography with Gabby!
We got our engagement photos and wedding photos with Gabby! She is wonderful to work with. She really gives it her all and always has some creative angles for photos. She made us feel so comfortable, felt like we were getting pictures taken by a longtime friend. She gives direction well and I couldn't have asked for a more smooth wedding day! We are thrilled with the final product and so fortunate that we got to work with her!

Fantastic!
Kate Holt Photography was one of the best decisions we made! Dom & Gabby were great and handled everything with professionalism and grace. Our venue was large and the schedule shifted more than once, but they adapted effortlessly, capturing every important moment without missing a beat!
The lighting throughout the day was tricky in several spots, but you'd never know it looking at our photos. Honestly, our pictures look like they're straight off a movie set. Beyond the incredible skill, what stood out the most was how calm, kind, and attentive they were all day. they made us feel completely at ease, which made such a difference on an already emotional day.
We would highly recommend Kate Holt Photography!

Professional, Reliable, and Personable!
My husband and I chose to work with Kate Holt for our wedding and engagement photos! We first worked with Dom to get to know the company and their philosophy on photography, and felt they were a great fit! We were paired up with Gabby as our photographer for both our engagement session and our wedding day. Gabby is PHENOMENAL! She is so friendly, sweet, and professional, and she makes the sessions feel fun and stress-free. She offered to carry out items for us to keep our pockets empty for photos, she was so knowledgeable about the area we did our engagement photos, she was able to help us pose in ways that looks so beautiful in pictures (which was especially helpful for us who never get our pictures taken!) she was even able to get our dog to cooperate in the pictures, which is no easy feat! On our wedding day, Gabby worked so quickly and got so many pictures done ahead of our timeline, so nothing was missed! She was everywhere with her camera, catching so many special moments I didn’t even realize she was capturing! I am so excited to see my full wedding set because everything that I’ve seen from the sneak peeks is stunning. We recommend the Kate Holt photography team for anyone looking for high-quality photos and an equally high-quality experience!!

Incredible work
We could not have asked for a better experience with Kate. She kept things fun and professional, knew how to keep the energy up for group photos, and absolutely nailed the lighting at our venue. I absolutely love our photos, especially getting them only 2 weeks after our wedding (perks of a March wedding). If you’re considering Kate and Dom, you can’t go wrong!!!

Great photography team!
I worked with Dom & Gabby on a beautiful April 2026 wedding. As a day-of coordinator, a strong photography team can make all the difference for a seamless day!
Communication was quick and helpful. On the wedding day, their team brought the best energy. They were easy to work with and genuinely so fun to be around. Dom took control of all the posed and formal photos with ease, even with a large wedding party. He provided great instruction and photo ideas.
And the professionalism? So, so good. They know exactly what they’re doing and carry it with so much confidence and grace.
Truly the real deal. Book them!

The Perfect Photographers for Every Occasion
My husband and I have used Kate and Dom as our photographers for our engagement, wedding, maternity, and infant photoshoots, plus a couple of for-fun sessions. My favorite thing about them is the direction they give. They know just how to tell you how to pose so you look natural, and they keep it so light and fun. I also love that within a day or two of the photoshoot, they already have a sneak peak ready to view online of their favorite shots! I can't say enough great things about them. They are my go-to professional photographers for every occasion.

Amazing experience working with them
I highly recommend using Kate Holt Photography for your photos! The photos turned out absolutely amazing, even better than I could have imagined! The pictures that Kate took really captured all the joy from our wedding day and turned it into beautiful photos. We got so many photos back from our wedding day and they are all so beautiful.
For the first meeting, I met with Dom, who was professional, very nice, and organized. He showed me past weddings they took pictures at, and explained the whole process. He explained all the photography options and pricing as well as the contract. They are very good at making you feel at ease during the whole wedding planning process. You can trust them to know what they are doing, and they are so helpful.
Kate was our photographer and she was absolutely amazing. She was very professional and organized. She was so amazing during the wedding day, she was so friendly, which made taking photos feel easy. She was so good at posing us and made it feel so natural. She even scouted out, the morning of the wedding, some absolutely amazing places to take pictures at.

Kate captured our very first photo together in our first year as a couple and to have both Dom and Kate there with us years later on our wedding day felt like such a beautiful full-circle moment.
