Experience Kate’s passion for photography began as a teenager when she received her first photography training by an award-winning artist. After spending three years learning and growing from him, she graduated on to pursue a career in photojournalism. Once settled in Portland, Kate decided to focus on weddings and family portraiture.

Highly Recommend
Kate Holt photography is amazing. We highly recommend them. The whole process and every step of the way was organized and helpful. Took a lot of stress off my shoulders knowing that we made the right choice with them. Gabby is like a ninja! I just adore her! Thank you for making our day better!
Kate Holt Photography was amazing to work with for our wedding and our engagement shoot, and we are so glad we went with them! Our photographer Noah was excellent to work with. He had a great energy that kept everyone having fun during the picture sessions, and most importantly he took some beautiful photos of our big day that we will always treasure. We really liked their natural editing style as well; it was perfect for the summertime backyard wedding we had.
On the logistical side of things, the Kate Holt team was very organized, proactive, and helpful in ensuring that we had all of the tools necessary to craft our perfect vision for the photos. Kate and Dom met with us multiple times throughout the year to make sure all was in order and the day went off without a hitch. They also were able to work with us within our budget and I can easily say that the value they delivered was exceptional. The team's hard work and attention to detail really paid off and we cannot recommend them enough!

Best. Wedding. Photographer. Ever.
Oh my gosh, where do I start? Dom of Kate Holt Photography is amazing. From our very first conversation about wedding day photography, I was confident that this was the perfect fit for our big day. Dom is a great communicator and has a gift for making people comfortable in front of the camera. He is so much fun to work with! He’ll make you laugh and enjoy the process. From our engagement session, to our wedding day, everything went off seamlessly and we had the best time. A great photographer makes all the difference and working with Dom and Kate Holt Photography was one of the best choices we made in our wedding season. 10/10. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience with Kate Holt Photography!
Kate did an AMAZING job at our wedding. She was extremely professional but very friendly. Many of our guests complimented her on great communication in the sometimes stressful process of getting everyone together and posed well for the photos :). She really relieved a lot of the pressure and stress from the wedding. She arrived early, was well dressed, had our timeline in mind and we got amazing photos. She was happy to accommodate for my requests and we got all the photos we were wanting! Thanks so much. Thanks again Kate💖

An amazing photographer!
Kate is an amazing photographer! I could not recommend her more! She had not been to the venue before, but was able to scope out the most amazing spots to take photos. She even found a spot outside of the venue that ended up being our favorite. All of our friends and family were jealous of the sneak peek pictures that came back. Kate and her team are responsive, give lots of information to prepare you, and present details that you wouldn’t have thought of otherwise. They are a must for your wedding!!

Our wine country wedding
Kate and Dom are wonderful people to work with. We would do it all again with them in a heartbeat! They were professional, timely, relaxed, friendly, and very artistic in their photography. Our experience with both the engagement session and the wedding was flawless. And the results speak for themselves. We have so many gorgeous photos to choose from. We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Kate Holt Photography! From the very beginning, Kate was an absolute ray of sunshine and made the entire experience so easy, fun, and stress free. Her personality is infectious, and she has such a natural way of making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, even the people who usually hate having their photos taken!
Our wedding photos are absolutely STUNNING. The quality, attention to detail, and way she captured all of the little moments throughout the day is beyond anything we could have imagined. Every photo feels so genuine and brings us right back to the emotions of our wedding day.
Kate also went above and beyond for us. She stayed later than planned just to make sure we could capture even more photos and moments, and that meant so much to us. She never made us feel rushed and genuinely seemed just as excited as we were to capture every special moment.

Best Photographers Ever!!!
I honestly don’t know how to start this review because I am in such awe over their work. Both our engagement shoot and wedding pictures were an absolute dream. They were so incredibly perfect I was in shock! And they are the absolute sweetest people to work with! If you want the best experience ever that exceeds everything you ever dreamed, hire Kate holt photography, because they are, in my opinion, the best photographers ever!

Absolutely Wonderful Team!!!
We had the pleasure of working with Gabby and Dom on our wedding. From the first zoom meeting, Dom was very nice and professional, he explained the whole process. We received a beautiful welcome package after booking. Communication was quick and helpful leading up to the wedding day. They arrived early to get the details shots. Both Dom and Gabby were extremely professional, friendly and made us feel at ease during the photoshoot. They delivered the Sneak Peak photos so quick after the wedding, they are truly wonderful to work with. We highly recommend them!

Spectacular Engagement and Wedding Photography with Gabby!
We got our engagement photos and wedding photos with Gabby! She is wonderful to work with. She really gives it her all and always has some creative angles for photos. She made us feel so comfortable, felt like we were getting pictures taken by a longtime friend. She gives direction well and I couldn't have asked for a more smooth wedding day! We are thrilled with the final product and so fortunate that we got to work with her!
