Karlo is amazing! Him and his teammate Dan shot the most beautiful photos of our wedding (and we've only seen the previews). His shots are so precise and well executed, that he pulled up ~35 of them from throughout the day and had them out on a ipad for a slideshow at our wedding reception. Some of these shots were only taken minutes before!

On top of their photography skills, Karlo and Dan are so laid back and good with directing photos. They seamlessly fit into our wedding day.

We couldn't recommend them more. If you are even thinking about hiring Karlo, just do it. You won't regret it. We will be recommending him to all of our friends and family!

It is hard to put into words how thrilled we are that we hired Karlo for our engagement and wedding photos. Karlo is extremely talented and has such a natural gift for photography. Beyond that, he is a really nice, fun and pleasant person to be around, who seems to have the ability to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. He came to Washington, DC, where we live, for our engagement photos - beforehand I showed him a few Pinterest ideas that I liked and wanted to recreate, which we did, but Karlo's own ideas were even better than the ones I thought I had to have. We spent several hours with him and his second shooter and by the end of the day, not only did we have amazing photos, but we also felt like we had new friends. We met with Karlo one other time before our wedding, at our venue, since he had not shot there before and wanted to make sure he knew all of the best places for pictures. He has a great eye, and we loved all of our pictures from our wedding day even more than we expected. Karlo is very responsive and turned our photos around quickly. He set up a sneak peek slideshow of photos from getting ready and the ceremony at our reception, which we and all of our guests loved. We also used Karlo's photo booth set up - he had fun props and a nice background, and we got digital copies of all of the photo booth pictures within a couple of days of the wedding (along with digital copies of all of the sneak peek photos as well). In short, Karlo is a great person, is an extremely talented photographer, and is extremely professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, and hope that I get the chance to work with him again in the future!

I would recommend Karlo on every wedding site on the interwebs if it was possible. Karlo photographed our wedding in July and truly captured the spirit of the day perfectly. He was innovative, attentive, flexible and funny. For normal people who aren't used to being "paparazzi'd" he created a very comfortable environment where the photographs happened organically and naturally. I have been stopped by peripheral fb friends who just wanted to tell me that our wedding photographs were some of the best they've ever seen. It's true what they say, don't skimp on photography. My husband and I both agree that Karlo was our favorite vendor…by far!! From the very beginning, Karlo was very easy to talk to, flexible, and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had (both before and after the wedding). Besides that, Karlo is outgoing, creative, professional, and affordable. During solo shots, I was thinking to myself "there's no way I look good in ANY of these". WRONG! Karlo gave me a glimpse of some of the photos as he was taking them and I couldn't believe how great they looked.

We also loved how Karlo prepared a “sneak peek” slideshow on his iPad to display during the reception. It’s something very unique that most wedding guests are not used to seeing. It was a big hit! Thank you Karlo for a great experience.

My new husband and I just got married this past Saturday, 6/13/15, and we hired Karlo as our photographer. And we are SO happy we did!! We are on our honeymoon now, but Karlo did such a phenomenal job, that I couldn't wait to review him!! We used Karlo to photograph our wedding and the only negative thing I can say is I wished we hired him for a longer period of time! From our initial contact with him until the he delivered our photographs we had a great experience with Karlo. He is professional, easy to work with, and has a great eye. He captured the emotion of the entire event and left us with some of the most beautiful photographs. If you are looking for a wedding photographer .... you can't go wrong with Karlo. He will give your wedding a photo finish!

We decided that we wanted to pour our resources into having fantastic pictures of our wedding day and forego any video or other means of capturing the moment. This made it extremely important to us that we have a professional and creative photographer who could capture the moments of the wedding through film for us to relive. I had seen Karlo's work before and he had done the photography for my brother's wedding. I knew his talent and keen eye to capture unique shots so he was the first and only photographer I reached out to. We were planning the wedding from out of town and Karlo was great about communicating with us as we planned our day. He really listened to who we were as a couple and what we were looking for and we couldn't be happier with the album he created for us! He has a talent for creating unique pictures while capturing the entire feel of the event. We happily recommend him to anyone who wants wedding pictures that they will enjoy for a lifetime. Our only difficulty is trying to decide which ones to frame as there are so many good ones to choose from!

Karlo is a very creative and professional (but fun) photographer. He put myself and my (now) wife at ease during our engagement shoot and made every effort to keep everyone comfortable and laughing at the wedding. His photographs are a perfect mix of candid, in the moment snapshots and stylized, artistic pictures. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding.

Karlo and his assistant Ole did the most amazing job on our wedding pictures. They caught the whole feel of the wedding and the love that was floating around that day. Karlo was so professional and made me feel like I had nothing to worry about. He blended in when appropriate and rallied the troops when needed. I thought it would be odd having a photographer there for our first look but he really captured it instead of being a part of it. When I looked at other photographers pictures, they didn't look that different than me giving one of my cousins a nice camera. Karlo's photos are art. You really are paying for a true artist. His prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of pictures you are getting. He is especially great at Chanteclaire Farm. He already knows the venue very well and knows the best spots for pictures and the best light. I recommend Karlo to any bride! He's the best!

I love working with Karlo!!! He was the first vendor I nailed down as I knew how important a photographer was to a wedding. He worked with our budget and was very flexible with our request. His artistic vision captured many fantastic moments at our wedding. He was relaxed and helped keep the flow of the wedding on schedule.
