Our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and wedding reception were at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa, and their Events team was outstanding! They were so helpful throughout every step of the planning process! Our guests really enjoyed staying at the hotel, and the food and drink options were exceptional at each event. They go out of their way to ensure their events are a success! The property is beautiful and truly a special place for weddings and other events!

JW Marriott provided the wedding of our dreams. It’s an absolutely gorgeous, well rounded venue with top notch service. I would be remiss if I didn’t leave a few notes for future couples looking to get married here. I don’t see many thorough reviews and I hope this can help.

JW is one of the most gorgeous wedding venues in Las Vegas. I have been to what feels like hundreds of Vegas weddings and JW has to be my favorite location. It gives that Vegas casino feel without being on the heart of the Strip, but also has gorgeous greenery and backdrops for photos that are rare to find in this city. The venue itself is 10/10. Some elements of the resort are pretty outdated but it’s not too noticeable. It was everything we wanted in a venue and more.

The value, although not cheap, is the best of the best when you add it all together. To get t amazing banquet servers, a wedding planner, an event coordinator, food, drinks, a DJ, cake, etc. - you really can’t beat it. On my wedding day, I didn’t lift a finger. I was taken care of like a queen. Because it’s a JW property, you know you’re getting service that meets their brand standards. Our waiters always made sure glasses were full. The banquet team brought our cake, leftovers and gifts to our room without us asking and constantly checked on us. Our event coordinator left a card and champagne in our room. They went above and beyond and made the entire experience seamless. It’s just not the same getting married at a golf course lol. You get that five star resort service. Our guests gushed over the venue and our pictures were stunning. I had several people us this was the best venue they’d been to.

I unfortunately have a few notes that I’m hoping JW takes into consideration and avoids for future events. To make an incredibly long story short, the person who helped us sign our wedding contract ghosted us after giving us a tour and getting the process rolling. We fell in love with the venue but because of her lack of responsiveness and how she acted like she couldn’t care less about us, we almost moved on. We truly didn’t want to even look at other venues but she gave us excuse after excuse when we tried to reach her. I felt like I was trying to get in touch with the President. I had to call constantly to finally get the contract signed, and once we did, there were so many errors and issues with the contact, including the price and even the spelling of my name. It was so sloppy and was the most infuriating process of our wedding journey. After we finally signed the contract, we were connected with our event coordinator to get things moving, yay! Well, not only did she not even introduce herself, she ghosted us as well. FIVE months later, I am calling the JW again because my wedding is around the corner and I’ve heard absolutely nothing. I was anxious and so in the dark. This is when someone finally proceed to tell me that the woman who organized our contract AND the event coordinator no longer worked there. If I hadn’t reached out, when were they planning to tell me? We had paid a massive deposit and it seemed no one cared. I just sadly think we were put into the hands of people who had one foot out the door. I wish someone at JW had apologized to us.

Well, we get introduced to one new coordinator and she’d worked there two months at the time. She was an absolute sweetheart but it was evident she wasn’t an expert at the venue, which is something we were sold on with the original gal we were paired up with. There were several lapses in communication during our time with her as well, but I didn’t care because she at least was responsive and worked hard to make things right. She was a big part of making our dreams come true and was lovely. Sadly, she no longer works there either, not sure what’s going on. My only other note is my suite had old food in it and wasn’t clean when we checked in.

Anyways, even with all the issues we had at the beginning, I don’t think there’s a better venue to get married at in Vegas. You will have one heck of a party and it’s an epic location. If you have trouble communicating, keep pushing because it’s worth it.
