I'm a very shy and awkward person when I take pictures but Justine was a dream to work with! She made me and my fiancé feel so good in our own skin and didn't force us to take pictures that weren't us! She captured our personalities in the most professional way ever. She was very patient and so quick to edit and share our pictures. I absolutely recommend working with Justine and hopefully we get to work together again in the future!

I can not say enough good things about Justine Cheng Photography. I hired Justine to photograph my wedding in June. Right from our first phone conversation I could tell she was very organized and professional. We communicated by phone and email several times, and also met in person to discuss details of the day. My husband and I really enjoyed our meeting, Justine asked many questions and we felt comfortable knowing that she was putting the time and effort into making sure she understood what we wanted. On the actual wedding day Justine arrived promptly and was very mindful of the time, although she never rushed or seemed flustered. Actually her calm demeanor made the whole day run very smoothly and she really put me and my husband at ease. Justine had a lot of suggestions and great ideas for our first look photos and during the entire day she was not intrusive at all but was still able to catch so many breathtaking moments. My only problem is figuring out which photos I love the most as they all come out fabulous! I would highly recommend hiring Justine and would not hesitate to use her services again in the future. She is a joy to work with and you will not be disappointed!

Justine was amazing! After getting to know her, we booked her for our wedding and she was super helpful and accommodating every step of the way. We did an engagement photo shoot with Justine in Bryant Park; and she completely captured the romantic city feel we were hoping for. On our wedding day, she photographed us at Snug Harbor on Staten Island as well as at our venue. She took breathtaking photos at all locations, which were completely different in atmosphere. We would highly recommend Justine!

We hired Justine for our wedding photography, and couldn't be happier with our decision. From the beginning, Justine was super responsive, kept in touch, and asked about every detail. During the actual wedding, she approached things with a very relaxed manner, was never pushy or bossy, and was very discreet. She is also an incredibly sweet person with good humor, and we felt comfortable with her throughout the process. Justine worked with us to photograph a small park wedding, less than 20 guests, for about 3 hours. She was an absolute joy to work with: professional, articulate, polite, and friendly. She made everyone feel very comfortable the day of the wedding & really, my husband and I barely noticed her working throughout the day! During the ceremony itself, we didn't see her once. We were able to enjoy the experience and live in those precious moments uninterrupted.

Justine did an awesome job at photographing our NYC elopement. She is very talented, and creative. She followed us around to all the iconic landmarks we wanted to have pictures at (even the subway). We are so happy we found her, and our pictures are exactly what we wanted.

I can't believe I waited this long to write this totally over due review. Justine was wonderful to work with. She really listened to what we were looking for and is very detail-oriented. On the day of our wedding, she was totally prepared and laughed with our guests. She also gave lots of suggestions and ideas for photos without being overbearing with requests to pose. I will say that she really put a lot of thought into her work because my now wife and I absolutely love the photos we received. She is really quite talented and knows how to capture all the special little moments. Highly recommend!

We used Justine for an 8-hour wedding package plus a 1-hour engagement shoot. Justine was extremely easy to work with. Before we hired her, we met in person and she asked lots of questions about what we wanted. After we hired her, she checked in numerous times before the wedding about the types of photos we wanted / the schedule to make sure she would get us the photos we wanted. The photos came out wonderfully, and we received them quickly (within a month of our event). All of my friends loved the preview post on her blog!

If you're looking for a photographer that will take your vision and convert it to photos then Justine is the person for the job. My husband and I used her for our wedding in brooklyn and she was able to capture all the special moments without us even knowing. I'm not the kind of person to pose in front of the camera and she snuck some shots. And they came out beautiful! She's very professional but at the same time we felt relaxed and comfortable with her. She was very social with the guests and bridal party and when we initially met, she asked all of the right questions and took good notes on what we wanted in terms of photography. She's great!
