Julien is a photography guru! Our first contact with Julien began in February when my wife and I were searching for a wedding photographer for our wedding happening June 6th, 2020. Immediately after speaking to Julien we realized that we did not have to look anymore. Our first conversation lasted about an hour with him over the phone. We discussed business but also realized that Julien actually wanted to get to know us and our vision. After our first conversation on the phone we decided to meet with Julien at a local diner for Lunch. We were not disappointed, Julien brought a few of his photo albums and a questionnaire to get to know us better. He assured us that we were all on the same page and happy with the different services he provided. We ended up booking with Julien sometime in March before the Pandemic began. Throughout the early stages of the Pandemic we realized that Julien had become part of our family. Julien kept in touch with us weekly seeing how we were doing and updating us along the way. Not once did he discuss business but genuinely got to know us. We have never had an experience like this with any other photographer and we truly enjoyed it. This helped take the awkwardness away from those intimate shots. It wasn’t until a few weeks before the wedding that we were able to get our engagement shots taken because of all of the restrictions in regards to the Pandemic. Julien went out of his way to ensure that he could shoot our engagement photos on the one day we were available to shoot because of work. He sent us over 100 sample poses and asked us if we had a preference. We told him that we had no preference and trusted his judgement 100%. We were not wrong in doing so, after we received our engagement photos, we were speechless. We had family and friends wanting to book with Julien after posting our photos all over social media. Julien even offered to print a few of our photos for the wedding seeing how we had a short window in trying to get them framed (7 days out). It took Julien less than a week to edit, print and send us all of our engagement photos. The days leading up to the wedding Julien kept in touch with us daily. He ensured that we were satisfied with the timeline and his vision. The day of the wedding Julien surprised us with a nice celebratory wine and arrived earlier than originally planned. Julien was incredible during our wedding! Not only did our family and friends enjoy him, the venue coordinator added him to their preferred vendor list days after our wedding. He worked harder than any photographer we have ever worked with. He skipped eating to ensure that he always had the perfect shot and also climbed onto the roof to get a different angle. He also stopped to show us a few of his shots during our wedding which made my wife beyond happy. Hours after the wedding we even received 50 edited wedding photos at 3 in the morning. Julien is a professional, outgoing, sincere and experienced photographer. We recommend him for any event!

What a perfect photographer to work with. Sure, he’s a great photographer, but you can tell that as soon as you see any image he has taken. What that picture doesn’t show is the behind the scenes, and Julien is top notch there as well. He doesn’t just take a good photo, he takes a photo that is both good and what you want. Not only is he extremely talented and professional at what he does, but he is the kindest person and was even offering to help with last minute tasks in the midst of our wedding day chaos!! Also want to add that he is amazing with kids and entertained my toddler while we were reviewing the contract!
