This venue is breathtaking and flat out stunning! We loved the versatility of the layout because it gave us many gorgeous alter options to choose from. The grounds being kept to the highest standard left our guests in awe of the little details. We had the time of our lives and we're treated incredibly special by the venue hosts, who planned the most special after moment for us while our guests mingled at happy hour! It's perfectly located just walking minutes from the Benbow Inn. We HIGHLY recommend this beautiful venue for the big day!!

The Julia Morgan Redwood Grove Estate is an absolutely breathtaking wedding venue, and having our wedding here felt like stepping into a magical fairytale. It was the wedding of our dreams.

Surrounded by majestic redwoods, with views of the Eel River and absolutely gorgeous grounds, the estate feels special, private, elegant, romantic, and completely enchanting. Our guests could not stop commenting on the immense beauty of the venue. There is simply nothing else like it, and the setting created an unforgettable backdrop for one of the most important days of our lives.

We are especially grateful to Jenny, the Assistant Estate Manager, who worked with us for more than a year leading up to our wedding. Throughout the planning process, Jenny was incredibly helpful and supportive, and on our wedding day, she and her team were exceptional. Their professionalism, dedication, and tireless effort helped bring our wedding vision to life and made our day everything we had dreamed it would be.

Jenny and her team worked seamlessly with our entire vendor team to ensure that everything flowed beautifully. They went above and beyond throughout the day, working incredibly hard behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we could simply enjoy our wedding. It is obvious that Jenny genuinely loves weddings and loves being a part of each couple’s love story. That care comes through in the tremendous amount of heart, dedication, and hard work she puts into making each wedding feel special. We are so thankful to her and her team for everything they did for us.

We also want to recognize Eric, the groundskeeper, who worked incredibly hard in the lead-up to our wedding to make sure the grounds looked as beautiful, lush, and green as possible. His efforts absolutely showed. The property looked spectacular on our wedding day, and we deeply appreciated the care both he and Jenny put into preparing it for us.
For couples considering the Julia Morgan Redwood Grove Estate, we would wholeheartedly recommend it, while also sharing a few pieces of practical advice from our experience. The property has very detailed rules and expectations. Read the contract thoroughly and make sure you understand exactly what is included, what is expected of you and your vendors, and all of the rules associated with holding an event on the property. We recommend asking plenty of questions and getting any clarifications in writing so that everyone is on the same page from the beginning.

It is also important to remember that this is a historic estate, and there are many areas and features of the property that couples, guests, and vendors need to treat with extra care.

With all of that said, we unequivocally recommend the Julia Morgan Redwood Grove Estate. Our wedding there was magical, and the beauty of this venue is truly unparalleled. It gave us the fairytale wedding we had dreamed about, and we will forever treasure the memories we made there.

In our opinion, this is the most beautiful wedding venue in Humboldt County. It is private, magical, elegant, and surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty of the redwoods and the Eel River. It is an unforgettable place to get married.
