I am so thankful for Abby and her expertise. I booked her for my wedding in Bluemont, Virginia, and it was the best decision I made. Although I love makeup, I’m not great with the application or know much about anything beyond the basics. From the moment we started, Abby listened to what I wanted and tailored the makeup to my facial structure to create a look that made me feel confident, beautiful, and still like myself. I was and am still so happy with the makeup.

Abby also went completely above and beyond on my wedding day—not just with makeup, but with everything else. She helped get me into my dress, made sure my skin was prepped and glowing (even applying oil to my arms), and stayed on top of touchups so I looked my best all day long. I had a very long and heavy dress, and while we were taking photos, she helped carry the train—which she did not have to do. In addition, she took some gorgeous photos of me. I didn’t know she was a photographer and videographer too! So incredibly talented!!

Abby also kept a positive attitude and was calm—which is so important for the wedding day. At times during the makeup application, she could see that I was stressed, and she helped me relax. Her genuine care made such a difference.

Separately, when we had our initial consultation, Abby provided great advice not just about skin care (such as drinking more water and wearing eye cream), but also my hair stylist, who I had not yet booked. As background, our first wedding planner dropped the ball several times. When I spoke to Abby, I told her I was planning on using my normal hair stylist for the wedding. She advised that I book a wedding hair stylist for several reasons (time, ensuring hair is set etc.). I didn’t know the importance of this until I spoke with her.

Abby is a gem!!!! I have utilized her make up services for different occasions and she never misses. Anytime she does my make up I don’t want to take it off. She is prompt, professional, communicates very well on knowing what you want, pays attention to detail, and she is kind with such amazing energy!
