We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Jade and Desiree from Joyful Events by Jade—they were absolutely everything we needed and more.

Jade was with me through my entire journey… and let me tell you, it evolved quite a bit 😅 I went from not wanting a big wedding, to getting married at the courthouse, to deciding a year later that I wanted “just a celebration”… which somehow turned into a full-on wedding—with a dress, catering, photographer, seating, linens, drapery, and more. Through all of those changes, Jade was incredibly patient, supportive, and flexible every step of the way.

As we got closer to the wedding, Desiree stepped in without hesitation and truly took over in the best way possible—helping finalize details, keep everything organized, and carry us across the finish line. Her calm, confident presence made such a difference, especially during those final, high-stress moments.

The biggest challenge? Transforming our local fraternal society club into a wedding venue—and WOW, Jade and Desiree absolutely delivered beyond anything I could have ever imagined. They took a space that most people wouldn’t look twice at and turned it into something genuinely beautiful. You truly would never have known where we were.

Both Jade and Desiree were ALWAYS responsive—any time I had questions, hesitations, or needed guidance, they were right there. And as someone who doesn’t naturally have an eye for design or décor, I gave them very little direction… yet somehow, they created something that felt exactly like me. It was almost like they just got my style, even when I couldn’t fully explain it myself.

One of the biggest lifesavers was how they handled coordination—setting up vendor meetings, managing logistics, and completely running the day-of execution. They kept everything on timeline, handled payments to vendors, and made sure every detail was taken care of so I could actually be present and enjoy the day.

And when I say they go above and beyond—I mean it. I decided LAST MINUTE that I wanted flowers, and without hesitation, they found an incredible local florist who created stunning arrangements and greenery for the space. It all came together seamlessly.

On the day of, Desiree and her daughter even moved around 200 chairs and benches by themselves while we were taking photos—completely transforming our ceremony space into a beautiful cocktail hour setup with lawn games like cornhole and Jenga. That level of hustle and dedication is unreal. They truly made it happen.

For anyone like me who plans everything in life down to a T and thinks you might not “need” a wedding planner—I promise you, you do. And Joyful Events by Jade is it. They care deeply about their clients, offer packages that fit your needs, and execute at the highest level.

We are beyond grateful for everything Jade and Desiree did—from the planning phase to the flawless execution. They made our vision come to life in a way we never could have done on our own.

Hiring Jade as our wedding planner and day‑of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made. She went above and beyond in every possible way and completely allayed my fears leading up to the big day. From the moment she stepped in, I felt like I could finally breathe — she took care of every detail so seamlessly that I was able to be fully present with my hubby, my family, and my friends. The way it should be.

Jade handled everything exactly as I asked and exactly as I needed. She anticipated things before I even realized they were happening. She even did the “floofing” of my dress — the one thing I knew I’d desperately need help with — and she did it with such care and joy. And when our Cookie Table was getting cleared out faster than we expected, she made sure to save the cookies we wanted. It’s those thoughtful touches that make her extraordinary.

Jade is truly a dream come true. For anyone who thinks they can be a bride and be fully present at their own wedding all day long without worrying about the details… let me tell you, you need a Jade. She is the Fairy Godmother every couple deserves. Because of her, I had complete peace of mind and could soak in every moment of our special day.

Jade exceeded my expectations for setting up my intimate wedding of 50 people at the LeMont in Pittsburgh! It was such a beautiful night and everything went so smoothly. Great experience working with Joyful Events by Jade for our recent wedding! Desiree was wonderful - super responsive, organized, professional, and helped make our wedding day run smoothly! When our florist didn’t show up and when our venue threatened to cancel just two days before the wedding, Jade immediately stepped in with solutions; even offering to secure an alternative venue at the last minute. Her expertise, industry connections, and quick thinking turned what could have been major stressors into seamless moments behind the scenes.

Because of Jade, we were able to be fully present and enjoy our day without worrying about the details. She made everything run smoothly, kept everyone on track, and created an atmosphere where we could just celebrate.

Jade was worth every penny and more. We can’t imagine having gone through the wedding planning process without her, and we’d hire her again in a heartbeat. We only wish we had hired her on sooner to have her there for the entire wedding planning process. If you’re debating whether to work with her, don’t hesitate; you’ll be so glad you did!

Jade was our day-of coordinator for our wedding, which we held at my family's church with the reception at the local volunteer fire hall. I can't recommend Jade and her team enough. Jade is friendly, knowledgeable, superbly organized, and wildly helpful - she went above and beyond to try to ease day-of as much as possible (and succeeded!). She was able to attend a meeting with the venue staff and I ahead of time, helped us with set up the day before, and handled so many little things that popped up the day of. She was on my team, and it made everything so much easier so that I could just focus on enjoying the day. I would recommend Jade to absolutely anyone.

My mom and I hired Jade after we quickly realized that planning a wedding can be super overwhelming. From the very first phone call that we had with Jade my mom and I were immediately relieved and felt so grateful to have Jades help planning my wedding. Whether it was her calming presence or her problem solving skills Jade was truly such a God send! She helped contact vendors who were not responding, she laid out the entire wedding day schedule and itinerary, she organized every little detail on the day, and she made sure the vendors had all of the Information they needed. On the day she was with me from the very start to the very end making sure everything ran smoothly. The feeling of everything being taken care of on your wedding day is invaluable. She just went above and beyond and my wedding would not have looked the way it did or been so stress free if it were not for her!!

We worked with Jade as our Day Of Coordinator, and also booked the design package through her! Jade was amazing and it was the best decision we made for our wedding and organization 😊. The design package was so helpful because we knew what we wanted, aesthetically, but didn’t know where to start or how to land on a cohesive look. Her designs helped us narrow down what we wanted, and also she included links that made ordering so easy! I didn’t know about some of the cute stuff we could get (custom napkins with our cat’s face on them; custom drink stirrers), and I wouldn’t have known without Jade! They made the day so special. We never felt pressured or stressed when we were working with Jade – she made sure everything was done when it needed to be, but the process was so smooth and not anxiety-inducing. Leading up to the wedding, Jade took a TON of work off our plates with all the coordinating she did. Endlessly grateful for that! Day of, Jade was even more amazing!!! I didn’t worry about a thing, because I knew she was on it. Seriously, people even asked me how I was so calm lol. The day was PERFECT and I know a lot of that was because of all the work Jade was doing behind the scenes. I’m sure there are things that she solved that I don’t even know about, because I wasn’t asked about a single detail or issue! When our after-party location was unexpectedly closed, Jade had a solution when I called her not knowing what to do. Hire Jade and her company for peace of mind! It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Would recommend her to any bride!
