Building Rental for Weddings – The Johnston Lions Club community building, located at NW 64th Place and Merle Hay Road, is available for rental for weddings, receptions, parties, meetings, and other functions. For these events, renters are able to use a caterer of their choice. Capacity of the building is 250.

I had our reception in June 2016 here. this was a great place to have a nice low budget reception! We rented the place out the night before to setup and that was worth it! The only downside is you have to be out the night of but it's wasn't so bad. Kathy is great to work with and very helpful and responsive. We did buy bulb lights to hang from the ceiling and that makes a huge difference! This facility also lets you bring in whatever caterer you want and beer and wine - you just have to pay for an officer - that saved us soooo much money!! They have a really cute brick patio but we weren't able to use it the day of because it was 95 + outside. There is a great dance floor and a full kitchen.
