We were so thankful to have chosen John as our photographer! He very generously traveled to Washington DC where we live, at no extra charge, for our engagement session. Before the wedding, John sent us a detailed questionnaire about all the people and types of photos we wanted to capture to ensure we wouldn’t miss any shots. I also made a strict schedule for the wedding day since we had a lot to pack in before the ceremony and John stuck to that by the minute! As for the photos, they were so beautiful and perfectly captured our emotions on our special day! John definitely has a whimsical and bright style which fit our personalities and the joyous way we approached our wedding day. He also did a great job with candid shots of the guests that everyone was excited to see. John’s assistant, Meghan, was so fun and she was able to get photos in the rooms where John wasn’t. Last but not least – John is just an all-around awesome guy ;) John, thank you for capturing the memories of our day that we will cherish for the rest of our lives!

We hired John for our wedding on July 7, 2018 in Rochester, NY. We couldn't be more happy with his service! From the very first interaction, he was accommodating; none of the packages on his website were exactly what we wanted, but he was flexible and made us a custom package that was perfect for us and for a great price! Leading up to the wedding he kept in touch and made sure he knew the whole schedule and everything. On our wedding day, John just took the lead and made sure he got every shot we could want. We didn't have to worry about anything! e.g. when it was time for sunset pictures, he came and got us! He didn't miss a single moment!

John was our photographer for our wedding this past June and did a truly fabulous job. We absolutely love our engagement and wedding photos. He also had our wedding photos available/ edited very soon after our wedding which was great, as we were eager to see them! John and his assistant David photographed our outdoor wedding in Rochester. They were great with our guests, especially managing our huge families. They were receptive to our photo suggestions and they improvised when the lighting was tricky at our ceremony location. My wife and I definitely recommend them!

John was great! Always capturing moments and not getting in the way. He was good at being where he needed to be and yet not being visible, like a distraction.
Also, he made everything really easy for us! He even came early to fetch me and my new husband early morning! And got us arranged in such a way so that we saw each other at the right moment. And gave clear directions and always was available to take even more pictures when needed.

He made us feel well at ease! John was a great photographer for our special day!
