I researched multiple photographers in the Milwaukee area before deciding on John. We had a tight timeline and a budget to stick to and John came through with flying colors on both aspects of our wedding! John took the time to have a lengthy phone conversation and in person meeting prior to our wedding day. John also met with the venue where our wedding and reception was held so that he could seek out prime spots for poses that we were wanting. We didn't have engagement pictures with John so our wedding was the first experience working with him. It was better than we could have ever expected! John was fun and inventive, knew how to get the best out of two people who aren't super stoked while getting their picture taken, and super professional. Even our guests commented on how he was all over the place during our reception, making sure to grab fun and in the moment shots, which is what we wanted most of all. John is quick and responsive now that we are making decisions about our pictures with albums and prints. We are extremely happy with our pictures and the overall experience that we have had with John. One of the best decisions that we made was hiring John to capture our wedding day!

John is a PRO.
His work speaks for itself, but beyond that, he was really the foundation of our wedding. He is so professional and experienced... he asked questions and helped with decisions that shaped our whole wedding. He's laid-back when he can be, and takes charge when he needs to... and he was always kind. We are incredibly happy that we worked with him. And our photos..... absolutely AMAZING.

I am so extremely pleased with our experience with John. He did our wedding photos this past weekend and was absolutely amazing. So easy to get along with, wonderful with directing us how to pose, so friendly and polite with my family and friends.
John's photos are absolutely stunning and speak for themselves. But we also wanted someone we could joke around with and enjoy having around. That was him! Even when I totally messed up our family photo list on the day, he just laughed with me and kept going. (I blame the wedding brain! ;) )
Not once during the day did he get in the way. I saw him snapping pictures all over the place but never in front of our guests or in an obnoxious way. He came early, stayed late, and had a smile on his face the whole night.
He also kept checking in with me to see if our timeline was still going as planned and kept us on track as the evening went on. He worked with our dj to coordinate dance times and events so that everything was captured. I had so many compliments on how great he was and how everyone thought how amazing it was that he was cruising around all day with all of his cameras attached to their holsters. ;)
I would recommend John to everyone! I have absolutely no complaints and am so grateful and happy that we were able to have him there for our big day!

John is a phenomenal photographer. Throughout this past year, John has helped us prepare for our wedding from across the country. He was always willing to go out of the way to work with our crazy schedule. When it came to the big day, John was there with a big smile and calming energy. For two people who don't always enjoy getting our picture taken, John had us laughing and relaxed. When we saw our pictures for the first time we couldn't help but smile and be in awe. They were stunning. We could not be happier with our engagement/wedding photos. As the maid of honor, I truly wish I had John take my wedding pictures for my own wedding earlier this year. John was organized, SO easy to work with, and knew exactly what to do to help keep the bride and groom cool, calm, and collected. The bride usually dreads the attention on her and pictures, but he made the photographs before, during, and after the wedding such a fun experience. You've worked extremely hard to make sure that every little detail is prepared for the wedding day. John understands that fully and brings his absolute A-game. He was a pleasure to work with, and his own personal standard of excellence and professionalism perfectly enhanced the experience of our wedding. He was constantly confident and in control of the situation, often times even helping keep the wedding party on schedule! The creativity he brought from behind the lens was unique, and his consistency with positioning himself for the perfect shot was impressive. He was never overbearing or too timid. Instead he knew his role to capture special memories, and handled it with poise. John is very fun to be around. He kept the wedding party entertained to the point where he hardly had to ask for smiles.

John is consistently the professional throughout the whole process. He asks the right questions to ensure that you have peace of mind with him behind the camera. He gladly welcomed any questions we had, and calmed and flexed with any concerns we brought up.

My wife and I come from a film production background, and so we are very familiar with all of the fine details John needs to consider to guarantee a job well done. He impressed us fully and we could not recommend him enough.

John is AMAZING! He was with us for the entire day and caught so many incredible moments. He is kind, patient, helpful, easy going and passionate. He was willing to go with our last minute changes and fit right in as if he was part of our family. I am so thankful for his hard work and incredible talent! The moments that he captured bring tears to my eyes.

John will make the most uncomfortable people comfortable. As long as you give him all your trust he will do wonders. I know nothing about photography, but what he does is art. I love showing off the photos to everyone. Can't wait for him to do our photos in June 2017!

John was amazing!! He did our engagement photos in FL, we flew him down for the day, and our wedding photos 10.1.16. He was always around to answer any questions and provide options for different picture locations. He had never been to the location in FL and was able to adapt and provide awesome photos!!! We had him all day for the wedding and that was the best option, he was there capturing those fun moments, and all the crying I did lol. I would recommend John to anyone!!

John was absolutely the best photographer we could have ever had!!! When we were interviewing photographers in January for our wedding, we were very unsure of what we wanted and who we wanted. Upon meeting John, within the first minute, I knew he would be coming to our destination wedding with us to Mexico! He also made the process so easy and relaxing so we didn't have to worry about a thing. As far as price, he was very reasonable. He worked with us and our needs based on what we wanted. We figured out that he gave us much more that the others that we interviewed, and the resort as well. One other thing that we were worried about was our destination wedding photographer. You never know what you are going to get when you book a destination wedding, and have never met the resort photographers. It felt really good to meet him first so that there were no surprises. The resort photographer was also way higher priced than John.
Our pictures turned out wonderful! We couldn't be happier!! We highly recommend him for any type of wedding and plan on using him in the future for other things! Thanks so much John!!!
