I had such a great experience at this dining establishment the food is very well prepared and the bartender on shift (Leanne) was so great very professional and helpful
I was sitting at the bar and my mother called me and told me my uncle died and I was in destress and she came to my aid and comforted me then she helped me to my car gave me a hug and even paid for my food she insisted. Such an amazing lady I give 5 stars

We used Johansson's Dining House for the rehearsal dinner and the entire experience with them was amazing! I changed my reservation number about 15 times and they were always very nice about it. For the dinner itself, the service was great. There was almost always someone there to take drink orders and the food kept coming in a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend them for large dinner events!

Couldn't have asked for better food, bar service and organization for our wedding reception! Johansson's did a wonderful job from beginning to end catering our reception and Wendy made the process painless. She was very accommodating and was on site the whole night to make sure everything went smoothly. It was exactly what we were looking for as far as a venue/caterer combo and I would highly recommend them!

Johansson’s catered my wedding reception this past October (2013). I had no say in my caterer as I was obligated to use them per my venue’s contract. But I will say I couldn’t have picked a better caterer if I had been able to choose from everyone out there. Wendy was amazing! She listened to what I had to say and worked to make anything and everything requested happen. She and her team set-up my reception hall, decorated the tables, and put out several photos that we wanted displayed. They met the bridal party as they arrived with appetizers and took drink orders so that everyone could participate in cocktail hour while we had photographs taken. Wendy worked with our DJ and made sure the entire reception flowed flawlessly. The food was amazing (we served filet mignon and crab cake with mashed potatoes and veggies)! My husband has a shellfish allergy and they were great about making sure his food stayed away from the crab cakes and also made sure that I didn’t receive any shellfish. They washed our champagne flutes and cake topped and packaged them up so they made it home undamaged. I requested that we have a slice of each cake flavor boxed for my husband and I to take with us to our hotel that evening and Wendy made sure we were given that when we left. She also made sure any extra meals that we paid for were boxed for my parents to take home. The only negative that I have from this experience was that our contract said that they did not accept credit cards for offsite events so we had to pay in cash. Even with the additional stress of coming up with the cash to pay the caterer I would still highly recommend using Johansson’s. The service and quality of the services and food was above and beyond what I’ve seen and had at other wedding receptions. We enjoyed restaurant quality food and 5 star service at our wedding reception for a very reasonable price.

I dealt with Wendy and she was so incredible to work with. If you are looking for great food at a decent price, look no further! The food is phenomenal and the choices are wonderful. When we had the food tasting, we weren't too fond of one of our choices (it was very good, just not what we wanted). So, Wendy made some suggestions and spoke with the Chef who agreed to do one of the items that was meant for a buffet style into a plated dinner instead. The day arrived and the food was just as great as when we had tried it months before. I have heard that the tastings are great, but when the day arrives it is not as good due to the volume of food that has to be made for the guests. However, this was not the case with Johansson's. I definitely recommend them!

Johansson's Catering was excellent in providing all the services necessary for having a wonderful event at The Inn at Roop's Mill. The professionalism of Wendy and her staff was appreciated by everyone.

The dinner selections were reasonably priced and the preparation was wonderful. I had the Filet Mignon and also had a crabcake and both were delicious. The bar service was great and waits were short. I thought a great feature was bringing drinks to the Bride, Groom and Family while photographs were taken.

Can't miss with Johansson's

We didn't choose a caterer because Johansson's has a contract to cater our venue, but I have to write a review because we were thrilled with the service. Wendy was so helpful and communicative in the planning process and all of the food was amazing. The staff was professional and helpful and everyone had a great time. Also, if you are torn splurge for the crab cakes - everyone is still talking about them from our wedding!

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The set up, friendly service,
professionalism, and the food was incredible!!!. We keep receiving
compliments about how great and delicious everything was. Wendy was a
pleasure to work with throughout the planning process and made things easy.
The day of our wedding she and her staff were amazing! Johansson's delivered
a perfect event!

We would use Johansson's again in a heart beat! I HIGHLY recomend these folks! Wendy Johansson is a quality individual who provides a high quality service! If you are getting married in or around Westminster, MD you want these folks!
Wendy was also our wedding planner the day of the event and rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, for a very reasonable fee! She knows what she is doing and she provides excellent results!

Johansson's Catering was great! We were so happy to work with Wendy Johansson throughout the catering planning. We had a lot of people mention it was some of the best wedding food they've had- we went with one of the buffet options so that everyone had the opportunity to taste everything we offered... beef tenderloin with hunter sauce and the stuffed shrimp were awesome- also added an eggplant dish that was good.
Bar service was fast and friendly.
