After seeing our friend's photos from their elopement in Big Sur, we knew we wanted their photographer! It turned out to be Jodee - and not only is her art incredible, but she's an even better human behind that camera! We got to work with Jodee's associate, Marissa, and Marissa is truly just another extension of wonderful. She was such a joy to work with, made us feel some comfortable behind the camera, and captured the most incredible shots. We got to spend lots of time with her during our first look, and it felt like we had been friends for life already. She took her time making sure to get all the shots we wanted, and she never made us feel rushed. She saw things we didn't see through the day, and loved looking back on. She has a true talent for capturing PURE EMOTION. The pictures make us laugh, cry and smile, and we know we will cherish these for our entire lives. I already have some of my favorite pictures I've ever seen in my entire life in just her sneak peeks! I would already recommend her 100 times over, but want to share another story that really touched my heart from my experience... It was really important to get a particular photo in advance for my grandparent who was passing, and Jodee turned around on a dime on the weekend to send over an incredible photo that Marissa shot of our entire family in both color and black and white. These types of human, above and beyond kind interactions really make the world a better place - and when it comes down to it, Jodee, Marissa and their entire team are just such GOOD PEOPLE that you want to be by you on any of life's big occasions. I really cannot recommend them enough.

Jodee took our engagement photos and was our photographer for our wedding day. We knew from the very start that Jodee was warm, professional, talented, experienced, enthusiastic, and fun. It's SO important to form a strong rapport with your wedding photographer so everything comes out looking natural and how you imagined it, and that rapport with Jodee felt more like a friendship we'd had for years. Not only was Jodee open to feedback from the very beginning on how we wanted our photos to look, she also taught us so much about how to capture the perfect shot... always an expert, but the shoots were fun and felt natural. On the wedding day she was not intrusive at all and worked with us (and our other vendors!) ahead of time to make sure the day went smoothly. Jodee actually picked up the slack of other vendors and felt like a personal assistant on our wedding day, always there with a bobby pin and so much other practical and emotional support. She even fixed my wife's dress when it was caught on a plant during part of the shoot! We feel like Jodee's part of the family now, and my wife is frequently saying things like "we can work with Jodee for it!" all the time. See you at the Bar Mitzvahs, Jodee.
