My wife and I hired Joel and Kristine to film our wedding on October 2024. J+K we’re always professional with us and were always readily available to answer any questions we had. Planning our wedding day with them was super easy! They were delightful and fun to work with! They always made sure that they got the perfect shot! Nothing could have prepared my wife and I for how amazing the footage looked! The film honestly looked like a movie and it was the best decision to hire JKapture. We came across their work through Instagram and were impressed by their ability to highlight individualized stories and evoke emotions through their videography. After our initial consultation with Joel & Kristine, we knew we found the right videographers for our wedding day. They were both professional, personable, and most of all genuine in their dedication to provide the best service. We appreciated their prompt communication and thoughtful suggestions in all our correspondence. Joel & Kristine truly know how to cultivate an authentic connection with their clients!

On the day of our wedding, Joel, Kristine, & Rogo were very flexible in navigating our schedule. Joel was able to expertly direct us and our wedding party to get perfect cinematic shots; they were able to capture all the precious candid moments as well. They knew exactly what to prioritize and kept us all on track but still made us feel comfortable and at ease. We had about 250 guests at our wedding and they skillfully navigated both the ceremony and reception.

Our wedding highlights and documentary films were captivating and the production quality was excellent! We have watched them both countless times and I still get emotional each time seeing all the love and unforgettable memories of our wedding day. JKapture Studios created something beautiful that we will surely cherish for years to come!

Joel, Kristine, and their associates are a dream team to work with. Clearly, all of their clients love them — so we’ll just pile on the compliments, but pretty much just want to echo what everyone else has said!! They’re obviously very talented (their work definitely speaks for them!), they’re talented and efficient, and they’re just super kind people and fun to work with. We had the JKapture team as our videographers for our 3-event, 2-day multicultural wedding celebration, and so we ended up spending quite a bit of time with them — and it was just an absolute blast!! They moved around our venues swiftly and discreetly, and captured a bunch of moments that we were grateful to have documented. Because of COVID, we had to postpone our wedding not once but twice — it was tricky and challenging, but made easier with Joel and Kristine’s support and flexibility. They were also very organized and on top of it, which made it easy for us to just enjoy the celebrations, knowing that they’d produce high-quality footage for us to share with all of our invited guests (and especially for our guests who unfortunately couldn’t make it in person)! We went with the short highlights film and the longer documentary film, and we and our families are so pleased with the final products, which are artistic, authentic, and polished. JKapture also provided a photobooth for our sangeet event, which guests loved!! We can’t recommend JKapture enough, they’re truly fantastic people who will go above and beyond to help you relive your wedding event!

One of the first vendors we hired when we got engaged in 2019 was our videographer. We found jkapture through a referral from my MOH and we could not have been more pleased with our decision. Joel and Kristine are amazing individuals and they have gone above and beyond for us through our 2020 postponement and finally our 2021 wedding. We had initially booked their bigger package with a photographer and photo booth but ended up downsizing our wedding and they happily accommodated downsizing our package to not include the photo booth and less hours! 

We looked at a bunch of different videographers trying to find the style that fit us the most and landed with Jkapture- with no REGRETS. Not even a month after our wedding we already received our wedding video and we loved it!!! I cannot rave about this team enough and will recommend them over and over. I was quite a frazzled bride with our plans changing from a big wedding, no wedding, elopement, no elopement to a microwedding and they were there with me throughout the whole process with no complaints or pressure. Definitely needed a videographer team like Jkapture to deal with all that stress. 

My husband was able to coordinate secretly with Joel to surprise me with a day of wedding gift and one of my best friends reached out to coordinate another surprise for an inside joke we have that was so near and dear to me. Needless to say, it meant a lot which just shows how personable they are. They made us laugh and were just overall great to work with. It honestly feels like we've all been friends for so long and they made all our guests feel the same way. I hope to get my friends to book them so I can see them again soon! hehe

The oneeee thing I wish I did was that I was more explicit about the shot list because there were some shots that I wished that I got after the fact (to no fault of Jkapture- they ask you for a shot list in the detailed questionnaire they send to their clients) We got so caught up in the stress of the planning that we didn't sit down to think about what photo shots meant a lot to me and sad we missed out on that day! Just a tip for brides and grooms to REALLY think about what shots you want for the one wedding day that you'll ever have (hopefully!!) 

We booked Joel and Kristine for our multi-cultural wedding celebration, and while we haven't gotten to work with them yet, we are SO excited to have them on our side as we plan our wedding! Like many 2020 couples, we had to postpone our wedding celebration due to COVID; Joel and Kristine made the rescheduling process so easy and stress-free, and for that, we are immensely grateful! As an amateur photographer myself, videography and photography was one of the aspects of the wedding that I cared most about -- my fiancé and I did our due diligence speaking with a number of different videographers before we made our final decision to go with JKapture. They are such kind and caring people -- we were blown away during our initial meeting with them because they showed a genuine interest in us as a couple, our values, and our vision for wedding videography. Plus, we loved the videos they've produced (and as a separate bonus, they seem to love boba just as much as we do!!). Joel and Kristine are seriously a dream team, and we are so thrilled to have them document our wedding next year!!

JKapture gave us wedding videos that went beyond our expectations. Hiring them was the best decision, and they were worth every penny. Seriously.

At first, my husband and I were hesitant to spend on a wedding videographer simply because I was already spending so much money on other aspects of our wedding. But everyone we spoke to said that our wedding day will go by like a blur. If that was true, then we needed a way to capture all the moments that we would miss on the actual day of the wedding. We were lucky to have found JKapture Studios, and even luckier to have them be available on our chosen date.

When we met Joel and Kristine, we instantly knew we were in great hands. They were very professional from start to finish, yet they also knew how to have fun. They were very organized, which made us feel at ease. They scheduled meetings, had checklists, and even helped me finalize our wedding day timeline.

Despite the fact that an active shooter near our wedding venue forced us to go on lockdown mode right after the ceremony, our videographers handled that unfortunate surprise gracefully. They were still able to deliver wedding videos that still makes my husband and I cry every time we watch it.

If you're on the fence about hiring JKapture as your wedding videographer, I will leave you with this quote: "Hindsight is always 20/20." (It's easy to see what someone should have done, after the situation is already finished.)

There was never a question about who would be (jk)apturing our day! Though if i'm completely honest I've been friends with Kristine and Joel for a couple years now, which honestly just sweetened the deal. Having these great professionals who kick ass at what they do, but also having my friends there to document our day was a win-win.

On the big day they were focused, easy to talk to, and so very helpful. Kristine is warm and makes any bride feel at ease. Joel can be super focused but loves cracking jokes (trust me they are often needed). You seriously get the best of both worlds working with this husband-wife dream team.

Now about the product, THE VIDEO! I will shamelessly admit I have watched all of them (IG teaser, highlight, & documentary) over 100x. My husband and I cried with all of them. Every single person i show is in tears. I think that was the biggest surprise watching people who weren't even at the wedding become so emotional. If that isn't the epitome of how you want your day captured I don't know what is. The way they incorporate all the special moments & details, the venue, and the beautiful natural surroundings is just so overwhelmingly emotional.

I would highly recommend JKapture to every upcoming Bride and Groom. I have also been fortunate to see their corporate work as well - it is just as top notch!

My husband and I were on the fence about getting a videographer. The entire wedding already went above our budget, so I was not too eager to pay more for a videographer, but my husband really wanted one. So, I did some research and after narrowing my search to a handful of videographers, I handed the list to my husband, who has an art background. After he saw samples of what Joel could do, he was sold. We both loved his work and he worked with us on price. We were on such a tight budget, but he was nice enough to work with us. We still paid more than what we wanted, but the end product was totally worth it! On top of that, he is quick! He got the highlight video and full length video to us quickly. Within weeks! In addition, they mailed us the video in such a CUTE box that was tailored to our wedding colors. It was such a nice surprise! We loved it! Everyone who has seen the highlight video has told us that it was amazing and some even cried after watching it. They did a beautiful job!
If there was anything I would say they could have done better is they could have filmed my husband actually getting ready. Joel and his partner were with me the whole time. It would have been nice if they split up and had one with me and the other with him. In addition, wish we could have edited the final product one more time (there is an additional charge for additional edits). Also, wish they stuck with us a bit more. For some time during the wedding, we had no idea where they were. But I guess that's not a big deal considering the end product was gorgeous.
Joel told me that we would not regret hiring them and he was correct! Thanks Joel for the beautiful job you did.
