They were very quick to respond, flexible about splitting the hours, and scheduling! We definitely recommend them to any couple who wants to hire a photographer who is very easy to work with.

JJ and Alison are awesome. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. They're are seriously pros, they showed up to our wedding before us and knew what was going on and what needed to happen more than me and my husband.
They are warm, creative, really lovely people to be around. We feel very fortunate to have picked them to be a part of such a memorable day for us and we hope to be able to work with them again in the future.

JJ & Alison sent over 1800 beautiful pictures from my wedding in such a short turn around time. They captured our day so perfectly. First and foremost, our engagement and wedding photos turned out beautifully. Having 2 photographers allowed for multiple perspectives of each moment, and some of our favorite photos were from unusual angles that likely wouldn’t have been taken with just one photographer. Alison and JJ also captured really lovely candid moments of not just us, but of our friends and family. We ended up with over 1300 images of our wedding.

Alison and JJ also provided incredible customer service. They were extremely responsive and returned any texts or emails almost instantaneously. They were willing to travel to a distant location, had flexible and reasonable packages (although they should definitely charge more than they do), and were really easy to coordinate with for our engagement photos, which we asked to do fairly quickly after hiring them.

As for our engagement session, neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of cameras, but Alison and JJ are so pleasant and easygoing that we felt relaxed and even enjoyed the experience.

On the day of our wedding, they went above and beyond. They helped to manage the chaos of our huge wedding party, searched for and found lost items, and gave us pep talks when we were feeling stressed and overwhelmed. Alison actually zipped up my dress and secured my pearl necklace when my mom was struggling with the zipper and clasp. She bustled my dress, made decisions about shots when we weren’t sure what approach to take, and was so incredibly kind in moments when we really needed objective opinions. Alison and JJ also navigated working with another team of videographers - which meant there were more people to avoid in shots and take turns directing the action with. We know they would be able to work with anyone in any situation.

We cannot say enough positive things about Alison and JJ. We are so grateful and wholeheartedly recommend them.

I cannot thank JJ and Alison enough for making our wedding photo experience so fantastic. They truly were so professional and thorough. They knew how to capture the moment so well. I felt taken care of by them and it really helped with the nerves and expectations of the day. They were also so fast with getting the photos back to us and I honestly can't say there was a single photo that we didn't love. Truly amazing family to work with.

JJ and Alison were amazing! They were easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any of my questions. We loved their energy and they were very professional. Alison helped me throughout the day with fluffing my train to even making sure I'm staying hydrated. They're more than your average wedding photographers, they genuinely care about you. Not to mention, their photos were absolutely stunning! We're having a hard time picking which photos to add to our wedding album at this time because we love them all! JJ & Alison absolutely nailed our wedding day photos! They made us so comfortable on the day and really captured the energy of the event. We had sneak peeks within a week and a full gallery in 10 days! The photos are phenomenal. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with them. It’s really hard to plan a destination wedding without meeting vendors in person, but they made working with them a breeze. Communication was quick when I had questions leading up to the day. 10/10 recommend!!

I cannot recommend Palms and Lace enough! J.J. and Alison are not only wonderful photographers, they are such wonderful people too! Planning a wedding is hard enough, but trying to do it during COVID was SOOOOOO much more stressful. It felt like our plans were changing daily. But J.J. and Alison were so flexible and responsive every time I emailed them. They were quick to roll with the punches whenever we had any changes to our original plan. They were also so helpful with planning! We didn't have a wedding coordinator, so we relied on their recommendations for vendors, locations for the photo shoots, and they even helped us put together our timeline. Our photos were absolutely beautiful and were delivered so quick after our engagement shoot and wedding. I know some people wait for months to get their pictures back, but we had ours in just a couple of weeks. They are also so reasonably priced! The quality and amount of photos is unbeatable for what you pay. We plan to use them for all our family photos from now on and recommend them to all our friends looking for wedding or family photos. If you're looking for a photographer, book them. I promise you won't regret it!

JJ and Alison are wonderfully talented and professional. I'm so glad that we got to meet them at our engagement shoot because by the time our wedding came around, it felt like we were meeting up with old friends again. They were really easy to work with and provided us with tons of beautiful photos to choose from. If photoshopped images are your thing, they might not be a good match. They do candid and posed portraits with minimal editing. They really captured our day perfectly.

My husband and I had planned a beautiful north shore wedding and sadly had to cancel it due to covid19.... we went back and forth about what we wanted to do and ultimately eloped but I still wanted that “fairytale wedding” in the back of my mind. In speaking with Alison and J.J we decided that it would be SO fun to do a wreck the dress photoshoot. My husband loves hiking so we decided to hike crouching lion for our photo shoot and Alison and J.J showed up with smiles on their face and made us feel INSANELY comfortable (we are so awkward and really hate taking pics). We laughed, cried and got the most magical wedding photos ever. It was truly amazing and honestly made up for us canceling our dream wedding. I 100% would recommend using them for your wedding needs! We love love love our pictures and will remember that day forever. 🙌🏼❤️
