We were looking for a photographer for a couple weeks, having a hard time finding photographers within our budget. We reached out after seeing the amazing work on their Website. They were very quick to respond, flexible about splitting the hours, and scheduling! We definitely recommend them to any couple who wants to hire a photographer who is very easy to work with. -

I cannot thank JJ and Alison enough for making our wedding photo experience so fantastic. They truly were so professional and thorough. They knew how to capture the moment so well. I felt taken care of by them and it really helped with the nerves and expectations of the day. They were also so fast with getting the photos back to us and I honestly can't say there was a single photo that we didn't love. Truly amazing family to work with. -

Wonderful Photographers
JJ and Alison were amazing! They were easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any of my questions. We loved their energy and they were very professional. Alison helped me throughout the day with fluffing my train to even making sure I'm staying hydrated. They're more than your average wedding photographers, they genuinely care about you. Not to mention, their photos were absolutely stunning! We're having a hard time picking which photos to add to our wedding album at this time because we love them all! I would highly recommend JJ and Alison! -

JJ & Alison absolutely nailed our wedding day photos! They made us so comfortable on the day and really captured the energy of the event. We had sneak peeks within a week and a full gallery in 10 days! The photos are phenomenal. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with them. It’s really hard to plan a destination wedding without meeting vendors in person, but they made working with them a breeze. Communication was quick when I had questions leading up to the day. 10/10 recommend!! -

Amazing photographers and wonderful people!
I cannot recommend Palms and Lace enough! J.J. and Alison are not only wonderful photographers, they are such wonderful people too! Planning a wedding is hard enough, but trying to do it during COVID was SOOOOOO much more stressful. It felt like our plans were changing daily. But J.J. and Alison were so flexible and responsive every time I emailed them. They were quick to roll with the punches whenever we had any changes to our original plan. They were also so helpful with planning! We didn't have a wedding coordinator, so we relied on their recommendations for vendors, locations for the photo shoots, and they even helped us put together our timeline. Our photos were absolutely beautiful and were delivered so quick after our engagement shoot and wedding. I know some people wait for months to get their pictures back, but we had ours in just a couple of weeks. They are also so reasonably priced! The quality and amount of photos is unbeatable for what you pay. We plan to use them for all our family photos from now on and recommend them to all our friends looking for wedding or family photos. If you're looking for a photographer, book them. I promise you won't regret it! -

JJ and Alison are wonderfully talented and professional. I'm so glad that we got to meet them at our engagement shoot because by the time our wedding came around, it felt like we were meeting up with old friends again. They were really easy to work with and provided us with tons of beautiful photos to choose from. If photoshopped images are your thing, they might not be a good match. They do candid and posed portraits with minimal editing. They really captured our day perfectly. -

My husband and I had planned a beautiful north shore wedding and sadly had to cancel it due to covid19.... we went back and forth about what we wanted to do and ultimately eloped but I still wanted that “fairytale wedding” in the back of my mind. In speaking with Alison and J.J we decided that it would be SO fun to do a wreck the dress photoshoot. My husband loves hiking so we decided to hike crouching lion for our photo shoot and Alison and J.J showed up with smiles on their face and made us feel INSANELY comfortable (we are so awkward and really hate taking pics). We laughed, cried and got the most magical wedding photos ever. It was truly amazing and honestly made up for us canceling our dream wedding. I 100% would recommend using them for your wedding needs! We love love love our pictures and will remember that day forever. 🙌🏼❤️ -

Amazing wedding photographer
Being myself a wedding photographer is not easy to find a fellow pro for your wedding,- your expectations are high and you want just the best possible shots.
When I found Palms and Lace team I immediately fell in love with their beautiful work. The images in the portfolio looked so organic and natural- exactly the style I was looking for.
My husband and I had a last minute wedding and JJ (our photographer) was absolutely nice and flexible during the preparation communication.
You know a wedding day might be a little bit stressful, even if it’s a small ceremony for two, and you want everything to be smooth and easy.
I really appreciate that JJ was very punctual and arrived even earlier, so he had a chance to walk around the venue to find good spots for the photoshoot. He was so nice and easy going and we both felt absolutely relaxed during the photoshoot.
The pictures turned out just fantastic, very romantic and full of real emotions. Amazing composition, great skills of seeing light and the posing style helped make our special moment be captured in the most beautiful way.
Thank you Palms and Lace for your talents and kindness! We will cherish our wedding memories forever. -

Gorgeous photos and super friendly people
We were lucky enough to have Allison and JJ take photos for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the result! Not only are the photos beautiful, but Allison and JJ were so helpful with recommendations and advice leading up to the wedding. It was also very nice to have them around on the day and they made us feel comfortable having our photos taken. JJ even lent me his shoes to walk on rough rocks when walking back from the beach after getting some sunset photos. Such nice people and talented photographers. We highly recommend Palms & Lace! -

Truly spectacular
JJ and Alison are amazing photographers that are down to earth and super fun to work with. They took over 1,000 photos during my wedding and I smiled from ear to ear while going through them. They are laid back, but hard working. I loved having both their perspectives from the photos. They read your vibe and respond to what you want. I think they are well worth their weight in gold! -

JJO Photo did my bridals and wedding photos at the end of April when I was in Hawaii. They were so flexible. It rained during our original appointment so we took half of the pictures in the morning, half at night which they changed so easily. Then on my wedding day when there were issues with my marriage license and my wedding was postponed about 90 minutes, they were completely flexible and came when the wedding did happen. They are so kind and the pictures turned out amazing, plus they were finished in about a week which was a nice surprise. ❤️❤️ -

These photographers are the greatest. We can't recommend them enough! They were flexible, fun, helpful, creative, and knowledgeable...basically, everything you could hope for in wedding photographers, and more! Their advice- about florists, restaurants, pastors, beach locations, etc- was crucial in making our Big Day perfect. Book them for your wedding! You'll be glad you did! -

We absolutely loved working with Alison and JJ!
When we decided to have a destination wedding in Hawaii, we really didn't know where to start. We didn't know where we should have the ceremony, what rules there are around getting married on public beaches, etc. JJ and Alison were beyond helpful!
We decided to do a formal session the night before the wedding to help lessen the stress of the wedding day. JJ and Alison came early, stayed late, and Alison even helped me with my veil and pinning Todd's boutonniere.
On the wedding day, they again came early, stayed late, were prepared with poses, and willing to do any of the poses we wanted. Our families and friends LOVED them. They were so detail conscious and made sure my hair, veil, flowers, lipstick, etc. were all perfect.
They also did get our images back to us in about a week, and they were BEAUTIFUL! Plus, they gave us 900+ images total for the hour or so the night before and couple hrs on the wedding day. And they were all gorgeous! When I was shopping around for a photographer, most Hawaii photographers were closer to $3K for what I was wanting, and only guaranteed about 50 pictures. 900+ images were a dream. -

JJ went out of his way to help me plan a really special photo shoot. I'm also a photographer, so when the time came, I asked for recommendations from my network, found JJ, and immediately knew he would get the shots I wanted. He went the extra mile and showed up early to make sure everything went smoothly, and he had lots of recommendations on locations. He worked with me for over a month to get everything just right. -
