I cannot recommend Jennifer Gentry Photography enough. First off, Jennifer was so flexible with our crazy schedule and even helped us choose the most gorgeous location. Our photos were elegant, stunning, and beautiful. She has such an artistic eye and directed my husband and I throughout the whole session, making us feel both comfortable and completely natural. We are absolutely in love with our pictures and are so happy we are able to cherish those moments forever.

We truly could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. She went above and beyond in every possible way, and I genuinely cannot recommend her enough!

Her talent behind the camera is INSANE. Our photos are absolutely beautiful, the editing is perfect, and she captured our day better than we ever could have imagined. But what makes her so special is that she is so much more than just an amazing photographer.

Throughout the day, she was constantly checking in on me, fixing my hair, helping with little things, and working side by side with our DJ to keep everything on track. Even with the complete chaos of the weather and things outside of our control, she kept us calm and reassured us that everything would work out perfectly.

One of the most impressive things was how comfortable she made my husband feel. He does NOT like taking pictures, especially in front of people, and somehow she made him completely comfortable — which is a rarity and such an incredible asset in a photographer. Nothing felt awkward or overly posed; she made it easy for us to just be ourselves.

Her personality is just as amazing as her talent. You aren’t just getting someone who takes incredible photos — you’re getting someone who truly cares about you and your entire day. We are so incredibly grateful she was part of ours and would choose her again a million times over.

I genuinely cannot recommend Jen enough. She has photographed so many of the biggest moments in our lives over the years, starting with our engagement photos in 2020 and our wedding in 2021. After that, there was never really a question of who we would call when we needed a photographer. She went on to photograph our daughter’s newborn photos, her first birthday, and our family photos, and every single time we absolutely adored the photos.

Jen is incredibly talented, but she’s also just such a wonderful person to work with. She is sweet, reliable, professional, communicative, and has always made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Over the years, she became more than just our photographer and truly became a dear friend to our family.

The only reason we stopped using her for every photography need is because we moved out of state, and I quite literally told her to let me know anytime she’s ever in our area because I would book her again in a heartbeat. 😂

Her photos are gorgeous, the experience of working with her is always wonderful, and I’m so grateful that we have so many important seasons of our lives captured through her lens. If you’re considering booking Jen, do it. I genuinely could not recommend her more. ❤️

Truly the best experience I’ve had with a photographer. As soon as we talked on the phone I knew working with Jennifer was going to be easy and beautiful. Jennifer was professional but also so warm when we met in person, she truly made me and my whole bridal party and family feel natural taking pictures and made sure we had fun during as well. When I received the sneak peak photos I couldn’t be more happy and satisfied with her work. She was able to capture all the happiness and love we felt that day and I recommend her to anyone wanting that for their wedding day pictures or other events!

Jen took our elopement photos which turned out stunning! She was flexible with our nontraditional ceremony and was willing to work within our budget. She was extremely professional while also being very warm and comforting. We felt at ease being coached through poses by her. She turned around our preview within the same night (wowza!) and returned our full set in a more than a reasonable time frame, especially for our wedding being during her busy season. As both my husband and I are not photogenic people, we were amazed by how she was able to perfectly document the joy of our day! We now have hundreds of beautiful pictures to look back on for years to come. She will be taking our wedding reception photos next summer and we cannot wait to work with her again. Thank you, Jen!

Jen took engagement photos for my fiancé and me and they turned out perfect! She was a natural and very easy to work with. She was very helpful when it came to poses and made sure everything in the picture came together to look beautiful.
