I have known the owner Weston for years. We have been using the Jeffers hill barn as a family event venue for the last 8 years from baby showers, to 5th birthday parties. It has gone under many stunning transformations and was the most perfect spot for my husband and I to renew our vows since it holds such a special place in our heart. As a thrilled bride on July 20, 2024, I have to share how incredible this wedding venue is. I got engaged in January 2023 and stumbled upon this gem on The Knot in the summer of 2023. I must tell you about my fantastic experience at Jeffers Hill Farm! The price was unbelievably affordable, and I couldn't be happier with the incredible value, considering all the amenities they offer. From the moment I connected with Wendy Spooner, I knew she was someone special. Not only is she a fantastic contact and co-owner of Sparks and Spoons, but she's also the co-owner of the spectacular Jeffers Hill Farm, a truly unique and picturesque setting for a wedding.
Wendy made everything so easy from the very beginning. My husband and I had the opportunity to tour the venue three times before deciding to book. Securing a private tour was a breeze – we simply went to their website and scheduled a Calendly. After booking, we had the chance to visit the venue two or three more times with family and our photographer. Each time, Wendy and her husband David were tirelessly working to renovate and enhance the venue, and let me tell you, it's even more enchanting in person than in the photos. The entire booking process was so smooth; it really took the stress out of planning our big day.
When you book this venue, you can access a whopping 450 acres for an entire weekend! And get this: they only host one wedding per weekend, so you'll have their undivided attention to make your special day absolutely perfect. My husband and I booked both the yellow farmhouse and the white farmhouse, and it was such an amazing experience! The renting process felt just like Airbnb. The white farmhouse is modern and perfect for getting ready in the morning and photo opportunities. Plus, the refrigerator can hold 175 cupcakes and a cutting cake – how awesome is that? And don't get me started on the yellow farmhouse; it's like taking a step back in time with so many amazing photo opportunities and a traditional farmhouse environment. Even if you don't rent the farmhouses, having access to the farm and barn for the weekend is truly remarkable. The value for money here is exceptional; you won't find a better deal for such a stunning venue. Trust me, you'll love it!
During the actual weekend, my family and friends rallied to help set up the reception and cocktail area, and we had access to the barn from Friday noon to Sunday noon. The venue also has a barn reception with over 20,000 twinkle lights, seating for up to 130 guests, tables and chairs, and much more. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather and were able to use the ceremony site in front of the yellow farmhouse. David and Wendy even ensured that the area for the ceremony site and the pathway to the ceremony were perfectly prepared. They go above and beyond, even offering to drive any guests who need assistance up in the golf cart right to their seats. My husband's grandmother, who struggles with walking, was graciously assisted to the ceremony and back down the hill to the reception area.
David and Wendy are amazing people who pour their hearts into running the venue. They even ensured that the campfire was taken care of throughout the weekend. I could write a 10-page love letter about this wedding venue—it's everything my husband and I ever dreamed of. Our special day was everything we hoped for. We love Jeffers Hill Farm. From the night before to the day after; everything went so perfectly and smooth. The owner was very accommodating with what we envisioned and we were so happy how everything turned out.

I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else, our wedding was better than we ever could have imagined. The owner of the farm was so helpful and accommodating. Anything we needed or wanted, he made it happen. The event coordinators have great quality decorations to choose from and their knowledge on practicality of placement for the decorations and stations was helpful when trying to figure out the setup of the barn. All event staff were amazing and super responsive! If I ever need space for another event in the future, Jeffers Hill will be at the top of my list.
