Getting a custom dress was an absolute dream come true! I thought the process would be out of budget, so I shopped around to see what I would like and ended up falling in love with two different dresses. That’s what led me to reaching out to Jean-Ralph. I was very clear about my budget, which he was able to work with to my surprise. Jean-Ralph and his wife are both extremely thorough and helpful throughout the entire process. They explained the process before I put down my deposit, drew my dream dress, and worked with me on changes up until the month before my wedding day. The design process ended up being my favorite part of the wedding planning process, since it was so incredible to see my vision come to life step-by-step. My dress and veil were perfect, and I’m so glad I decided to work with Jean Ralph! Additionally, my mom also decided to work with Jean Ralph as well for her custom dress. Throughout the process she decided she wanted a cape, which ended up looking so gorgeous. She was extremely happy with her dress and we both had so much fun with the process.

I got my wedding dress here!!! It was custom and let me tell you, I was blown away!!! I went viral on Instagram because of how beautiful my dress was. I had 3 looks and everyone was amazed!! They are so helpful and they treat everyone like family!! I also had my maid of honor dresses created there and they were jaw droppers as well! I would highly recommend hands down! You will not be disappointed!!!!

You walk into this gorgeous boutique that looks like it should be in NYC, Miami, or LA and you are overwhelmed by the beauty on every single rack and the display's. I am a small town country girl who never in a million years would dream of being blessed enough to have my wedding dress custom made, let alone by designers as talented and well known as Ralph and Delfrance. They truly are the most down to earth fashion designers I have ever witnessed. I instantly hit if off with Ralph, when I walked in and told him my dream and then my reality... Jean-Ralph Thurin stands out, b/c most would tell you that your dream is not reachable with your (reality) budget. But not Ralph, he made my dream come true and at a good price. Throughout the whole process, Ralph and Delfrance were supportive, patient, and a true class act. My dress was one of a kind, just like I wanted, you could never find it in a store. Thank you Ralph and Delfrance for making this girl's dream come true! It's something I will treasure for the rest of my life.

This was the best part of preparing for my wedding! After an exhausting day of trying on dresses at various stores throughout NJ and not finding anything that I loved, we stopped at Jean Ralph Thurin Atelier. Immediately walking in, I received a warm greeting from Jean Ralph and his wife Delfrance. They are the sweetest people you will ever meet! I was given undivided attention, as they only schedule one bride at a time, and had the whole beautiful design studio to myself. Browsing through his collections, each gown was more stunning than the next. I think I tried on almost all of them. I found "the dress" and didn't want to take it off. My mother and my sisters were crying, it was so stunning! We sat down and he drew a design of how to make the dress from one of his collections my own. He is an amazing artist and really loves what he does! I loved to see how the transformation of how my dress was made from scratch just for me! The dress came out beautiful, and I felt absolutely stunning in it! I am in love! We were so thrilled with everything, that he also designed the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom gowns. He even did all the bridesmaids dresses, and they got the tailor the design to suit them perfectly. I completely trusted him, and everything was perfect. My job is very demanding with crazy hours, and they were always able to accommodate me and work with my schedule. I even had him design my custom veil, shoes, hair piece, and earrings. I wish I could get married all over again just so I can go back to work with Delfrance and Jean Ralph. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. My sisters already said that they aren't going to bother looking anywhere else, that they want a Jean Ralph Thurin original as well. Thank you so much for making my wedding and all the preparations so wonderful! Definitely worth the price, your dress will be beyond expectations!

One of a kind. Jean Ralph designed a one of a kind dress that was so timeless and classic. I loved my dress. Jean Ralph was a pleasure to work with along with his wife DelFrance. My sister was recently married. Her and her wife's dress was designed by him, the mother of the bride and matron of honor. Looking forward to working again with them!

Ralph and everyone at Thurin Atelier made getting a wedding dress (and shoes, jewelry, etc.) the simplest part of preparing for the wedding. We talked about my ideas, and Ralph understood what I wanted immediately and then he drew it for me. The final product was beautiful and fit perfectly. It looked lovely not just in still photographs but when I walked and danced. Thurin Atelier made whole experience (of having the dress designed, made and fitted) relaxing and fun. And they were great advisors on how to find other vendors or solve issues I was facing. It was great to have their support through all the preparations.
