Jasper & Oak

We first met Trent briefly at the Camarillo Wedding Expo, where he was hosting us with refreshments and testing out his vintage looking Photo Booth.

Little did we know, that he ended up being a preferred videographer for our amazing coordinator Courtney Haynes of One Sweet Day. We thought this was a full circle moment, and a sign that we had to book him for our Camarillo Ranch House wedding in May. 

Not to mention, he was one of the less moody lighting we've seen. We prefer a brighter lighter look!

Trent was always cool and collected, since our first conversation, and down to earth and made you comfortable to be in front of his camera. We loved the editing and lighting of all the videos and we got them back so timely, we still didn't have the brain, post wedding, to watch it right away. He and his team captured our wedding with so much detail, and i cry everytime I rewatch the day.

He was so accommodating with being able to be our photobooth vendor and offered the idea of an audio guestbook. 

If we are lucky to ever have something as extravagant as our wedding again, we'd 100% look to seeing if we can have Trent at it all over again!

Trent and his team were so great to work with! We had a great call with him just before the wedding where we were able to really share our vibe and what we wanted to capture and he nailed it. He was so fun and made us feel at ease! The whole experience felt so creative and the end result made us cry! We also added on a photo booth with them kind of last minute and it was so easy/such a hit with the guests. 10/10 recommend videography and working with Jasper & Oak!

I just want to say, booking Jasper & Oak was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. My husband and I got married on 11/1/24 and from the day we spoke with Trent, he was attentive, kind, thoughtful, and all around just a wonderfully pleasant individual to speak with and work with. During multiple consultations prior to the wedding, Trent had wonderful ideas for our engagement and wedding photos; we look back at our photos constantly and tear up because they’re so beautiful! On the day of the wedding, the Jasper & Oak crew were extremely professional and attentive. They understood the best angles at the venue, and as a result, we have stunning sunset photographs. They took amazing candid photos of our guests which we will cherish forever. Trent took lovely and thoughtful photos of my traditional Iranian sofreh, the pictures were so beautiful. We can’t recommend Jasper & Oak enough and look forward to using them for more milestone events.

My husband and I are both in finance (aka not the most creative duo) - and we really didn't know what to ask Trent for. All we knew is we wanted something that felt really *special* - and somehow, he totally got it. The film feels so personal, like he truly understood our dynamic and what mattered most to us. He captured all these little in-between moments we didn’t even realize were happening, and brought everything together in such a natural way. I found working with Trent at Jasper & Oak seamless and loved all the photos and video he took. I spent $4K with him and it was well worth the experience! I found him via a recommendation through friends and I'm so happy I did.

I knew Jasper & Oak was going to be my first choice when hiring a videographer/photographer for my one and only wedding day because I had seen Trent's work before and I knew how talented he is. I did not know, however what it felt like to be the bride in the hands of a true professional.

Trent and his team handled every detail even though I was one of those brides who had no idea what was going on and gave him very little direction. I'm also not very good at selfies and I don't know how to pose, but Trent made my husband and I look amazing and flattering and made the whole thing so easy. He was on time, in all the right places at the right times, got all the family members in the different groupings efficiently and made sure everyone looked polished and natural. Did I mention that he is hilarious? Having Trent cracking jokes all night made it so easy to be less nervous in front of the camera and smile genuinely in all the special moments. He captured the light so well. He made our backyard venue look like a classy paradise in the way he captured the light.

As cliche as it is, what they say is true: the wedding comes and goes fast, but the photos and videos are forever. They look stunning and were returned to us quickly. Don't think twice about hiring Jasper & Oak. Pure talent and professionalism.
