Jason Mitchell is a Delaware-based wedding photojournalist. Jason serves areas from coast to coast within the US as well as destinations worldwide.

I live and work by the motto that life is short, live and love like today may be your last. If there's one thing I could say about myself and my nearly 19 years in photography, it's that I love marriage and weddings, and I'm a sucker for a love story. Getting to spend such a special day with my couples is what drives my love of photography. After shooting hundreds of weddings, I still wake up excited for each and every wedding, it's truly my passion in life.

I want the time I spend with my couple to be stress-free but, most of all, fun. I blend photojournalism with a mix of slightly more traditional images that I hope to have live on for generations in your family.

Wedding day collaboration starts at a reasonable price. I offer additional options that will be tailored to meet your individual needs.

Amazing photographer

Jason Mitchell was the perfect photographer for us. He captured our day exactly how I asked him to. I wanted more candid pictures but some formal as well and he delivered. He has an amazing personality and I enjoyed spending the whole day with him. He is reasonably priced and I didn't feel like he was trying to upcharge me just because it was a wedding. But most importantly, the pictures he took are GORGEOUS! And I got them back very quickly. I am looking forward to working with him in the future.

Working with Jason was wonderful. He is easy to be around, professional, and the quality of his work is excellent! He was so good, our’s was the third time he shot for our family, my two other brothers used Jason as well.

Amazing experience!!

We had the best experience with Jason as our photographer on our wedding day! He is very experienced, kind, was communicative, listened to what we wanted out of our wedding day, and captured AMAZING photos that we cant stop looking at. He had our whole album back to us in less than a month. He also provided us with a second photographer who was incredible. We 100% recommend Jason for a great wedding day!

Excellent service

Jason was an excellent photographer, and a great choice for our special day! Him and his team were easy to wirk with and provided the direction that we needed to get the shots we wanted. He was ready to work with the changing weather conditions and we even got some shots later when the sun finally came out! Photos were delivered quickly and great quality and editing. We would definitely recommend!!

Hire Jason Mitchell!

If I'm being perfectly honest, I was hesitant to hire Jason because he is not as active on social media as other wedding photographers. But, after one phone call with him, my husband and I knew we wanted to work with him! He was so kind, really listened to what we wanted from our photos, and was incredibly responsive throughout our entire wedding planning process. The day of our wedding, he was flexible, professional, and efficient. He had to deal with a large wedding that included people of all ages and different cultures and he did so with ease. He captured all the moments we wanted and so many more! After the wedding, he got our photos back to us SO quickly! We were shocked by how quickly actually. And we LOVE them! He has perfected the skill of capturing candid moments and edits them in a timeless way. We cannot recommend him enough!

Fantastic!

Jason is seriously the best photographer! He was so patient with us and always in good spirits. He was willing to go to two different places for our engagement photos without complaint. We received our full set of wedding photos within about a week! His quality is spectacular and he's reasonably priced. He even stayed until the end of the wedding (many photographers leave early). All around a fantastic photographer and person, definitely recommend!

Perfection

Jason Mitchell Photography was easily the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. From our engagement pictures to reviewing the final prints from our wedding, Jason was responsive, helpful, and incredibly accomodating, especially after postponing our wedding due to COVID. He has and incredible talent for taking incredible shots and captured the relationship between my husband and I flawlessly. He would offer suggestions for pictures which have turned out to be our absolute favorites and was a pleasure and a joy to work with. We were laughing together for the majority of our wedding with Jason and he truly puts the couple and wedding party at ease throughout the entire day. I cannot recommend Jason Mitchell Photography enough to other brides who are hoping for perfect wedding photos.

Great experience

Jason was absolutely amazing. The pictures were provided very quickly after our wedding too. Sometimes we forgot he was there because they did such a great job capturing the event without being invasive. We can look at the photos and relive our wedding over and over again. We very much enjoyed the experience from start to finish and he’s one of the reasons our wedding was so awesome.

Stellar photographer

From the beginning of our experience, Jason was great! When we first started looking at him for our wedding, he wanted to make sure he was the right fit for what we were looking for and asked us a lot of questions about what we wanted. For our engagement shoot, he drove up to us in a blizzard so that we were able to get pictures in the snow and was willing to spend time in the cold to get good quality pictures that we were happy with. For our wedding, he spent the entire day with us so that we were able to get pictures getting ready throughout the entire reception. The whole experience was very comfortable and Jason is a very personable photographer. He took tons of pictures and you barely even notice that he is there. All of our guests commented on how likable and discreet he was. He went above and beyond and we could not have asked for a better photographer or better pictures for our wedding.

Amazing photography!

Jason was awesome to work with! The pictures came out amazing. I’m so happy with his work. He went over and beyond what was needed. We had 2 ceremonies, and he was with us literally all day long. He did an amazing job.
