I recently hired Janeen Jones (of Beautiful You by Janeen) and her incredible team to do hair and makeup for my wedding, and I cannot recommend them enough! We had a large group (14 total), and Janeen created a perfectly organized schedule with enough flexibility to keep everything stress-free. The team was so efficient that they actually finished early, and every single person was thrilled with their hair and makeup. They truly captured each person’s vision and inspiration beautifully.

As the bride, I was naturally nervous about achieving the look I had in mind, but after doing a trial with Janeen, I felt completely confident. On the wedding day, she absolutely nailed it. She gave me the most flawless glam makeup look, and I felt like the most beautiful, glowing version of myself. I had also worried about my long, thick hair falling flat due to inclement weather, but Janeen pulled out every trick to make sure it stayed perfect—and it lasted for days! She is not only incredibly talented but also a true professional who knows how to make a bride feel glamorous, confident, and radiant.

Beyond their artistry, the Beautiful You team brought such positive energy to the entire day. They were kind, thoughtful, and such a joy to be around. It made getting ready one of my favorite parts of the wedding. Janeen and her team are truly among the best in the business. RUN, don’t walk, to book them for your wedding or event. My bridal hair and makeup was absolutely flawless thanks to Janeen Jones! Janeen is extremely gifted in both hair styling and makeup application. Additionally, she is an absolute pleasure to spend time with! Janeen provided a sense of comfort during the morning of our wedding (which has a tendency to become stressful at times!). Shortly after arriving, Janeen and her assistant quickly got to work and in no time at all felt like part of my group of family and friends! I very much enjoyed spending the morning of my wedding with Janeen.

As a very minimal makeup wearer, I was very open to any ideas Janeen had for my bridal makeup. She created the perfect bridal look while still maintaining my desired natural look. Janeen was also able to execute my dream bridal hairstyle. She had the challenge of creating curls in hair that has never been able to hold a curl – I am not sure how she did it, but my perfect curls were intact for the entire reception! Janeen was phenomenal at being able to elevate my hair and makeup into the perfect bridal look, while I was still able to feel like myself. She is extremely creative and talented in what she does.

Additionally, Janeen was very accommodating for my hair and makeup trial. In the very early stages of wedding planning, my husband and I relocated from Massachusetts to South Carolina. With very little flexibility in my trips home to Massachusetts, I had to schedule my hair and makeup trial for the morning of my bridal shower. As luck would have it, there was a snowstorm in Massachusetts on April 1, 2017… the day of my hair and makeup trial (and bridal shower). Knowing my tight schedule, Janeen braved the snowstorm and difficult driving conditions for me, and met with me for my hair and makeup trial. Janeen clearly wants the best for her brides and she will go above and beyond to make sure she comes through for them.

Janeen and her two assistants were just absolutely fabulous. They traveled all the way from NH for my Maine wedding and were even early (this is impressive since my wedding was the day before the 4th of July)! Leading up to the big day, I met with Janeen on two occasions to try out different hairstyles and makeup, which was extremely helpful, being not much of a makeup person. The day of the wedding, Janeen and her girls did an amazing job with each and every one of us in the wedding party. They were able to easily accommodate myself, my five bridesmaids, my aunt, my mother, my mother-in-law, and my junior bridesmaid with time to spare! We were all very happy with our hairstyles and I must say it really made a difference in the photos!
