Jamie was the most amazing photographer to work with. From the beginning, we originally thought we just wanted her to do our engagement photo’s, as we had already booked a wedding photographer. But simply through Jamie’s work, we quickly changed our minds. Immediately, Jamie was quick to respond, and helped create a vision for what our engagement photos would look like, she even sent over outfit recommendations that would work best with film. During the engagement session, my husband, who has never really spent much time in front of camera, was so relaxed because Jamie made it such a fun experience. We laughed way too much, and simply had the best time. After receiving our engagement photos, we knew we had to book her for our wedding. The day of our wedding, Jamie was invisible, moving around taking the best photos, and the set up shots of our ceremony and reception were truly the best. She has an eye for detail and captures the most beautiful images. I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone who wants beautiful, natural and romantic photos. I’m so excited to have these photos to cherish for the rest of my life.

After getting engaged I knew that securing our photographer was one of the most important details. My girlfriends and I spend countless hours on Instagram trying to find the perfect photographer that not only matched my style but took beautiful photos. Finding Jamie Rae was absolutely meant to be and nothing short of a miracle. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, she made my fiancé and I feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. She was able to make us laugh while creating the most beautiful poses. Her passion for using both digital cameras and film are truly an art and made for some outstanding photos. I am honestly sad that our wedding is over and we won't be working with her anymore. Hopefully we can have children and convince her to photograph our family someday! You won't find a more creative, passionate and amazing photographer than Jamie Rae.

Jamie is a supremely talented photographer. We were lucky enough to find her and book her for our summer wedding in 2016. I fell in love with her romantic photography style that is so effortless. She is a genius with lighting and posing her clients for natural and dreamy story telling through her photography. I seriously doubt she has ever taken a bad photo. She keeps the film art alive and is a true stand-out in her field, I am beyond thrilled at the finished product of our engagement and wedding photos. Also, Jamie is a true joy to work with. She makes you feel so comfortable while in front of her lens, a true professional that is talented and kind. I have already suggested her to many of my friends/family and also received many compliments during my wedding. Jamie was amazing! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable at our engagement and wedding shoot. She was fun to photograph with and her laid back positive attitude made taking photos the day of our wedding so enjoyable. Our photos for both of our shoots turned out so perfect, they went above and beyond our expectations. They are all stunning! We got so many complaints from our friends and family on how gorgeous the photos are! Jamie was so sweet, accommodating, and very talented! I'm so grateful we found her and used her as our photographer!

I had Jamie do my engagement and wedding photos and they turned out way better than I could even imagine! I was blown away and friends and family loved them as well. She made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera always giving us direction and feedback, she is so encouraging and sweet. Through the wedding process she was willing to help with anything and give advice when I needed it. I would highly recommend her to anyone, best and easiest decision I made with my wedding!

Jamie is the very best photographer you could ever hope for! She is so fun to work with, puts everyone at ease, and takes the most stunning, light-infused photos. She will capture your wedding day (or engagement photos) in a way that truly embodies who you are as a couple. I would give her 100 stars if I could!

I found Jamie through google because I lived in Seattle and wasn't sure which photographers were good in the Portland/Vancouver area (she has a great portfolio!), so I was a little apprehensive, but from my initial inquiry, Jamie was responsive all throughout the wedding photo process--she usually responded to my emails in less than a day and was so easy to work with. I could only go down to Vancouver at certain times because I was working and she was so flexible with her schedule.

Plus, she really wanted to capture what was important to us and made that a priority throughout our special day. Jamie was also very professional and thoughtful--our friends and family commented on how great she was too! Our wedding photos turned out great and she gave such a quick turn-around too. Would highly recommend her!!!!!

I don't even know where to begin! My fiancé and I did an engagement shoot with her last weekend (we already got our pictures back because Jamie is amazing), we had so much fun with Jamie! Neither of us really like to be photographed, always feeling a little awkward.. but Jamie made us feel so comfortable! She was super laid back and very good about giving us advice on how to pose! She was constantly reassuring us that we looked great! She was super patient with our ( a little bit crazy) lab and really made sure he was part of the family in pictures that he was in. We had a lot of laughs with Jamie and hope to work with her again in the future! I have posted a few of the pictures on Facebook and instagram and have received wonderful feedback! Everyone is blown away and so many people have said they are the best engagement pictures they have ever seen! I want to thank Jamie for truly capturing our love and making us feel so special!

It has honestly been hard for me to get on here to write this review as I LOVE Jamie Rae and quite frankly this feels like we are breaking up. But in all honesty, to say I adore Jamie Rae Photography is an absolute understatement. Jamie's craft is beyond perfection and at almost eight weeks post wedding, we are still getting approached daily with compliments on our wedding pictures.

Jamie is incredibly professional, hard-working, creative, passionate, and most importantly, a truly beautiful soul. She was with us the entire day of the wedding capturing photos and we were at such ease with her. From the minute we booked her last October, she was with us through the entire wedding process (October-August). After booking Jamie Rae in October, we were in constant communication. Included in our package was a 3+ hour engagement photo shoot, a wedding day photography schedule and a list of "must have photos". On top of all this, Jamie truly understood us as people and our vision for the wedding day because she put so much effort in.

We love our wedding photos (all 700+ of them) and couldn't be happier. I am SO jealous of future brides who get to work with Jamie Rae and am already looking for excuses to book her again!

Jamie Rae is an incredibly talented and hard working photographer. She was completely professional and communicative from start to finish and also has a calm and soothing nature that is very valuable in the chaos of a wedding. Jamie's photos are beautiful but also fun and natural. I can't imagine a better wedding photographer!
