Hire Jamie!!

Jamie is all around fantastic—an amazing artist (in a variety of styles), great communicator, & just a really pleasant person to be around! She's easy to talk to, brings a cool & collected presence to the wedding planning process, and fully understood what details we wanted captured from our wedding. Not to mention that she posted up in the thick of the event and our guests adored that—we received photos of her work mid-painting & many positive comments about her being there to capture the evening.

Wonder Painter & Wonderful Human Being

Jamie Peterson is a wonderful oil painter and she is also a wonderful human being. My partner and I hired Jamie on the recommendation of a friend who contracted Jamie for a corporate event painting. We are so glad we did so. Jamie's painting of our wedding reception hangs in our living room. It is beautiful - full of thoughtful color, design and composition. We cannot recommend Jamie enough!

Wonder Painter & Wonderful Human Being

Jamie Peterson is wonderful oil painter and a wonder human being. My partner and I found her through a friend of ours, who hired her for a corporate live event painting. Jamie painted our wedding reception earlier this spring. It's a lovely piece that hangs in our living room - beautiful colors, design, and composition. We are so glad she worked for us. Jamie was also a true professional. She was organized with her billing and was a breeze to correspond with. My partner and I cannot recommend her enough!

A++++ Talented Live Event Painter!!!!

My husband and I found Jamie through a google search. We were looking for a live event painter who could capture our wedding and give us something we would have for the rest of our lives. Jamie did that and so much more. She was just so great to work with. She was professional, warm, attentive and just such a kind and thoughtful person. It was a delight to have her at our wedding. We love our wedding painting very much. Jamie has our highest endorsement. She is so very talented at what she does.

One of the Best Live Event Painters in the South

Jamie is a fantastic painter. She did a panoramic landscape for our wedding in the Virginia countryside this summer. I couldn't be happier. Her choice of colors and and her ability to express movement is superb. Book her fast before she's committed!

Jamie Peterson is extraordinary. She did a live painting of our wedding reception, which was enormous fun for all of our guests. It was a subtle, elegant and extremely unique form of entertainment. But it was also much more than that. Of all of the images captured that day, Jamie's gorgeous painting is the most enduring. The attention to detail and the sheer magnitude of the work is awe-inspiring. Afterwards, Jamie created fabulous thank-cards fashioned from high quality copies of the painting, and she individually signed each one. Each guest received a "work of art" as well as a lovely remembrance of the day. On top of all of this, Jamie is an absolute dream to work with. She takes care of all of the details. She is perfect and gracious. Having her as part of our day was certainly one of the highlights of our celebration. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Jamie gave us something priceless when she painted our wedding reception. We love the final product and so do our guests who received prints as thank you cards. Jamie was a true professional in every other respect as well. I'm using her again to produce a special anniversary gift!

I wanted a special gift for my husband for our 3 year wedding anniversary. I heard from a fried about Jamie and her amazing talent to capture such special moments in the "old masters way"- Oil painting. Jamie was very easy to talk to, she made the process and the picture selection so easy and smooth that I had no doubt that this will turn out into something amazing. The painting was completed within a week since we choose the right moment to capture. And oh boy how beautiful it was! I had a hard time waiting to show my husband and surprise him with such a special gift. He loved it as much as I did and today it hangs in our house where everyone can see it and we get a lot of compliments! Every time I look at it , it warms my heart in such way that I do not think a photograph would manage to do so. There is just something special, mystical and magical about an oil painting of your own wedding day. Jamie did such a great job and I would recommend her work to anyone who wants to own a unique piece of art that is close to ones heart.
