James was great as our photographer. He was a fun guy to have around and the pictures came out really amazing. We had some issues with our timeline but he was flexible and easy to work with and the pictures are exactly what we were looking for.

We used James for our wedding day and couldn't be happier about the way it worked out. He did a great job catching fun moments and took some very nice photos of the two of us at sunset. He asked us to put aside 15 minutes during the ceremony to go out and shoot the sunset photos and I can't say how happy I am that we did. He also took a few small video clips for use that came out really nicely. He does a great job period, but if you take into consideration his low rates, he has to be one of the best deals around.

James' photo coverage of our wedding was everything we could ask for. He was very engaged all throughout our early correspondences. My partner and I planned a unique ceremony and reception that was true to who we are, from the venue, an old postcard factory in San Francisco, to the food and entertainment. James paid attention to all the details and he arrived on time. He took amazing photos of the aerialist, the street tap dancer, the tenor, and the ballet dancer. He was not intrusive at all. He was a true professional and we hardly noticed him as he worked, other than the time when we did our elegant portrait shots, which he handled with impressive skill. We received a lot of praise on his photos, not only from our friends and loved ones, but also other individuals in our creative community. We wanted our wedding to be fun and meaningful and James captured it all from the tearful moments to the jubilant celebration. I would highly recommend James to capture your best memories.

James it the BEST photographer I've ever had!!! My husband is usually shy around the camera, but it was a very comfortable shoot. I have a 3 year old as well who just absolutely loved him! He is great and has a wonderful sense of humor. Overall it was a lot of fun, very comfortable, and the pictures were more than perfect.

James was absolutely great! He traveled to our wedding site, which was outdoors and in San Francisco, on a major holiday on a very last minute request. He was very flexible with our schedule but was still very prompt on arrival and totally worked within the manic activity of our wedding day. And not to mention, the photos came out even better than my husband and I had hoped! They are absolutely perfect. Without a doubt, we would use his services again and recommend him to anyone else in need of a talented and reliable photographer.

James was an absolute pleasure to work with and he comes highly recommended! He made sure we got all of the essentials shots, and some fun candid ones as well. James has a unique eye when it comes to the use of lighting in his photographs - and it makes the images really stand out!

It's pretty astonishing how this james will go around leaving poor reviews at other business when he has never done any business with them. He is definitely not the type of person I would want to be at my wedding. Who knows what kind of petty stuff he would do to your wedding if he doesn't get his way.

DO NOT HIRE. Not only was James 1.5 hours late to our wedding (missed all of our scheduled First Look photos due to his tardiness), but when he arrived he was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. During our ceremony, he stumbled around, tripped over bushes, and sat down in the middle of the aisle as my husband and I were to walk down the aisle. He was a distraction to all of our wedding guests during our ceremony. When James was asked to leave after the ceremony he was rude and combative. James still has our deposit money, because he refused to contact us in order to try to reach a resolution after our wedding. I could go on about the many reasons James should not be hired by anyone for any sort of event, but my main point here is that because of him and his unprofessionalism, my husband and I have no professional photos of this once in a lifetime event.
