Roni, the owner, was so easy to work with. SHe made us an extremely unique ice cream wedding cake! (We had a beautiful display cake that no one could guess was not real!) The ice cream was delicious, cake was beautiful and Roni was accommodating, reasonably priced and professional. Definitely recommend! (She makes regular cake too!)

We had the best wedding cake! My husband and I don't care too much for traditional cake, but we LOVE ice cream and came up with the idea to have an ice cream cake as our wedding cake. Our venue was not thrilled with the idea at first but Roni at Jake's was so accommodating and contacted the venue directly to work out the logistics. Roni was convinced we could make it work and was willing to do just about anything to make sure it did. She ended up pre-slicing the cake for the venue to make it easier for them and delivered it between the cocktail hour & reception so that it would be fresh and we wouldn't have any issues with melting. She also made us a smaller traditional cake which we used for a display cake and our ceremonial cake cutting. Roni went above and beyond to make our ice cream wedding cake dream come true. And to top if off, the ice cream was DELICIOUS. I highly recommend more people try this out for their wedding cake. All of the guests were so pleasantly surprised and had great things to say about it. Lastly, considering she essentially made two wedding cakes for us with the ice cream and display cake, she was VERY reasonably priced.

My husband grew up having Jake's cakes for all his birthdays. What a perfect addition to our wedding, to bring a piece of his childhood with us! Ronnie was understanding and flexible. First we wanted carrot cake, then we wanted vanilla, then we wanted a nature-inspired cake, then we wanted something more festive, then we wanted cupcakes, we couldn't make up our mind. We finally decided on a small, two-tiered carrot cake for us to cut, and sheet confetti-cake with buttercream frosting for our guests. My husband drew up a mock up design for the cake: simple, with small flowers, mostly white, with some orange and blue to match our wedding colors. Ronnie literally, and I mean it, copied it exactly, down to which flowers were colored and the cascade of flowers, too. We had cake for breakfast the next day, and dessert the day after that. Our friends could not get enough of it. We have some saved for our first anniversary and can't wait to eat it again!!
