I was drawn to Jacqueline’s kindness and client-centric attitude from the first moment we spoke. She asked thoughtful questions about our vision for the day and how we wanted it to feel. Jacqueline embraced our idea for an intimate, simple, and timeless wedding...and our brief of natural, unposed photos. Jacqueline was incredibly communicative leading up to the wedding, and I was grateful to have her as a sounding board for pre-wedding jitters. The day of, Jacqueline was a JOY to be around. Her presence added to the space, and she seamlessly moved throughout the day capturing everything we wanted without disrupting any special moments or conversations. When I look back on our wedding photos, I can feel the warmth, ease, and love that encapsulated the day. Jacqueline has since taken photos of our family with our newborn baby. I would hire her time and time again to photograph life’s most precious and intimate moments. I cannot recommend her enough.

Jackie was nothing short of genius on our wedding day. She's not your typical look at the camera and say cheese photographer, she is SO much more. She will take the standard family photos that your parents want, however, her real gift is working with real honest moments and capturing those organically... and in the best light you could imagine.
She simply took us for a walk around the block during magic hour looking for the perfect light / background combinations, which she found plenty. The contrast of a wedding dress and a suit against an industrial building or walking down the middle of the street...the results made our heads explode. Then after our walkabout, she told us that we no longer needed to look at the camera, and she captured many timeless moments. We really don't have words that can convey our gratitude and the unbelievable talent Jackie brings to your wedding. Book her and you too will also be blown away.

We used Jackie for our wedding after I saw my cousin's wedding pictures which came out amazing! Jackie was amazing to work with, she totally understood our vision for our day and the importance of getting amazing pictures throughout but also to be able to actually ENJOY and take our day in, which was super important for us. Throughout the whole day Jackie made us feel very comfortable and was beyond such a please to work with! She provided amazing guidance and felt like we knew her forever! I would highly suggest her, the sneak peak pictures are incredible and we cant wait to see the final results!

I could rave about Jackie for days. She is fun, sweet, professional, and AMAZING at what she does. When we first met her for our engagement photos, I immediately felt like she was an old friend and she made us feel so comfortable in the whole process. I receive endless compliments on all of the pictures that she has done for us. If you like photos that have a natural, effortless, and classic feel - she's your girl. She was worth every penny and I recommend her to everyone. I honestly can't wait to have another reason for her to take our pictures!

Seriously. Photography was one of my major priorities in planning my wedding. I'm very picky with photography and knew I didn't want the traditional style of photos. We found Jackie because she was the photographer at a friends wedding. As a guest, I remembered I didn't even notice the photographer (TRUST me...that's a good thing). Guests don't want a camera shoved in their faces. Then once I saw my friends photos come in I just knew we had to book Jackie and we had to book her fast. I mean, c'mon.... Just look at her work, it's beautiful. She makes us all look like models! We met up for dinner and drinks and just hit it off instantly. There was never a doubt in my mind that she was going to be our wedding photographer. Looking at her photography alone and it's a no brainer. But once you meet her and are around her infectiously happy personality you will see why everyone recommends her. She also shot our engagement photos and we had such a blast! We were laughing the entire time. As the bride, Jackie made me feel so incredibly happy, calm and at ease the entire day. Especially getting ready in the morning. I kind of just looked towards her for guidance for EVERYTHING. "What do I do now? Should I wear these earrings too? Do I stand like this? Should we leave now?" She was like my own personal wedding planner! haha It was like having your closest friend with you the entire day and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm so so happy we found her. Our pictures are amazing and we really feel like we've made a lifelong friend. Our entire family and friends still talk about how "AMAZING" our photographer was. How fun, on top of everything and just incredibly talented she was. They all thought she was great! And so do we. You will not be disappointed at all if you choose Jackie. I would recommend her over and over again. I truly feel like our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without her! So happy she was a part of our day. I want her to photography my entire life! LOL

I found Jackie through a friend of mine that used her and LOVED her. After meeting with Jackie for the first time I was instantly obsessed. She is SO personable, knowledgeable and really made me feel comfortable right away. She was someone I would want to have around me on my big day, from getting ready through the end of the night. I should mention that when Jackie was done shooting for the night, she was on the dance floor with us! My husband and I are IN LOVE with our photos. Jackie did such an amazing job capturing the raw emotion of the entire day. As we go through our photos we feel like we are reliving the day all over again. I would highly recommend Jackie to our friends and family and I definitely plan to use her again in the future for lifestyle photos.

Jacqueline Patton photographed our wedding in Laguna Beach over Fourth of July weekend. She was nothing short of exceptional! Jackie sent us some sneak peak shots on Sunday and let me just tell you that the woman is an artistic genius. We even had people telling us that the photos were so pretty that they should be featured in a bridal magazine : ) Jackie is also extremely professional. She showed up way early to both events (RD and Wedding) to make sure that the holiday traffic didn't affect her work and she was so easy to communicate with the entire time. While I'm sure that she captured every detail of the wedding, she had this unique ability to blend in and not disrupt the flow of the evening. We are so fortunate to have found her. She is part of the reason why our wedding weekend was something we will cherish forever.

Boy, did we luck out in finding Jackie for our wedding. We hired her because of her beautiful portfolio and the playful sensibility of her website, which was very much "us" - and we weren't disappointed. Jackie worked with absolute professionalism, humor, and a very light touch. She was never pushy or overbearing in getting her shots, and put our guests at ease, helping them reveal their playful sides on camera. I was so grateful to her for remaining calm even when corraling large groups of people or dealing with the on-again, off-again rain - she was willing to get very wet to find optimal lighting for our shots. And in terms of the finished product, we were surprised and delighted: each photo captures a very specific expression, interior mood, or moment of humor, many of which we would never have seen otherwise. I've been proud to post her work on my Facebook page, and (tellingly) so have the guests captured in the shots - there has been much "sharing" and "liking." In short, Jackie comes with our highest recommendation - too bad we can't hire her again. :)

Jackie made us feel so comfortable which was so important to me and captured candid moments and emotions rather than having staged photos.
