We hope this helps make someone's decision easy: HIRE MELISSA! She was a consummate professional who worked tirelessly on our wedding day to make things flow smoothly. She was so proactive in her communication with us, led our (chaotic) family through a ceremony rehearsal, and truly made our wedding day what we had hoped it would be. She made sure my groom and I were where we needed to be, she bustled my dress, she put my bouquet in water, she made sure we were fed, she made sure we were hydrating. She was like our wedding fairy Godmother and was an incredibly calming presence during a high nervousness day. She communicated with our vendors before the big day by sending them a banquet event order she put together to ensure everyone was on the same page. She led communication with our caterer when they were unexpectedly late and kept us insulated from the stress. She found us two additional servers when we were concerned about clearing plates and keeping water glasses full. She helped fill in gaps in our timeline and made sure we had a comprehensive plan for our wedding day. Our day would not have been nearly as successful without Melissa, and we are eternally grateful (and will forever sing her praises to anyone who will listen). Melissa is absolutely spectacular! She provided sound guidance throughout the planning process and took the time to really understand our vision. She communicated efficiently and promptly with us and with our vendors in the weeks and days prior to our wedding. She ran our rehearsal efficiently and was so patient with us. On our wedding day, Melissa not only kept the entire event running smoothly, she looked after us and ensured we got to enjoy ourselves and stayed fed, hydrated and happy. She was a fun, calm, friendly, supportive presence that made us AND our entire wedding party feel totally at ease. We received so many compliments on how well our event was executed!
