Jacob was such a such a special part of our wedding day, he created the perfect ambiance with his amazing voice. He was very professional, flexible and accommodating in every way! I kept getting distracted while in conversation with people because I couldn't stop listening to him sing! Everyone at the wedding was ranting and raving about you Jacob. You truly are talented. I left the playlist of songs up to Jacob to chose for the entire day and he nailed it, with his experience and repertoire i knew he would. Thank you so much and we will absolutely recommend you to anyone when in need.

Jacob was amazing. We hired him to do five songs for our commitment ceremony; we live in Switzerland but had the ceremony in Chicago so coordination could have been a challenge. He made it easy for us and had calls around time zones, was very open and asked questions about the styling of the music to fit the theme of the event. His appearance was excellent, he brought a stand up Bass player who was also very presentable, and he smiled a lot. And the best part is that he is very talented - as a singer, arranger and musician. Anyone looking for a smiling, kind, presentable, talented singer and acoustic guitarist would not be disappointed! Thank you, Jacob!

Jacob was amazing. He performed during our cocktail hour and I didn't want it to end, my favorite part of our day. He played all the songs I requested and actually learned a new one. We completely surprised my husband. I never saw him so happy as I did in that moment. Our friends and family cannot stop talking about Jacob and our rooftop cocktail hour. Jacob Sweet was awesome! They played for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We had very specific song requests and he was able to play them all. He also sent us a list prior to our wedding where we picked from songs that he could play. He is very versatile and can play many different genres of music. During the process he was professional and responsive, easy to work with, and gave us his recommendations on how things should flow. Everything the night of went seamlessly and actually exceeded our expectations.

Everyone's wedding is special, but the right music and the right band are what turn a wedding into a rockin' party. That's what Jake and his band did for me, my wife and our guests. He and the band were unbelievable. Not only were guests telling us that Jake and his band were the best wedding band they'd ever heard, but the other vendors in attendance shared that sentiment as well. In addition to playing at the party, we asked Jake to play music during our processional and recessional as well. We selected songs we wanted, one of which he learned to play specifically for our wedding, and he nailed it. Jake's a true professional. He plays with heart and emotion, and it comes through with every song. Equally as impressive as he was in delivering on the music was his ability to emcee the party. He knew how to control the event and keep the flow of the party going. He understood when and how to introduce the wedding party, to transition into first dances, to tee up the speeches and to queue the ceremonial blessings. And perhaps the most reassuring part of having Jake handle music duties for our wedding was that he's an expert in anticipating what questions my wife and I would have leading up to the big day. He proactively helped us sort through everything from the 'day-of' coordination with the vendors to helping us structure our 'day-of' itinerary. With so much to think about leading up to the wedding, it was beyond reassuring knowing Jake knew exactly what to do on his end without needing direction from us. Like I said before, he is a true professional. Playing unbelievable music is just half the battle; knowing how to manage a wedding is just as important. Jake gets five stars in both categories.
