There has never been a question about who would do my hair on my wedding day, Sarah has been my hair stylist since I was really young and she is absolutely amazing. I constantly have guests telling me how gorgeous my hair was on my wedding day. Sarah, Maddie, and Cassie did hair for my bridal party and they exceeded any expectations. The talent here is out of this world. Each bridesmaid asked for a different style and each style ended up being absolute perfection. Not only are they talented, but extremely professional. They worked seamlessly through a delayed timeline and power outage. Yes, the power completely went out while they were doing hair and they didn’t miss a beat! There is no one else I would recommend! You can’t go wrong with J. Stephens!

I am an Indian girl who just got married in State College, PA and boy did I LUCK out when I had all of my makeup and hair completed by Billie Jo at J Stephens Salon & Spa!!! I heard about their excellent reputation from local friends and family, but what I did not know was that their makeup queen Billie Jo knows how to do many styles of makeup including authentic Indian style! She actually studies different cultures and ethnicities and knew exactly what type of look I wanted.

She was patient with all of my requests and the BEST part is that she really listens to what you want and suggests things to make your own ideas even better. She made me feel like ME on my big day and that was my ultimate goal.

She is very experienced and is quite personable. It was fun to do makeup trials with her.

J Stephens Salon can also go on-site if needed, and this is what I had done on my big day. She changed my morning ceremony makeup to evening reception makeup on site and it was truly amazing.

Oh, and you can bring in champagne and food on your special day to celebrate and have fun. Mom had her makeup and hair done too and loved it, as did my Matron of Honor!
