Willis has provided high quality oak floor stages for our concerts in the old and historic First Parish Chucrh meetinghouse in Harvard Square on many occasions. were it not for their expertise and cooperation, we would not be able to use this beautiful venue as access, parking etc is difficult for the crew. they always excel...

J.G. provided a tent for our wedding at Codman Estates. Tents are expensive! but we really needed one for our event. They set-up on Friday night (so we could see it at the rehearsal) and it was just what we needed.
I didn't deal directly with them, but DH did. I think he would have liked if they were on email (instead of all phone calls), but they were nice to work with and professional.
They also provided a dance floor, which worked out great.

We had our wedding reception at the Codman Carriage House in Lincoln, MA. In order to use a tent at the location we had a list of approved vendors (actually there were only 2 tent companies to choose from). We chose Willis because the cost for the tent and the heater that we needed was cheaper than the other company.
The carriage house has two entrances/exits (one main and one for the bar area) and the tent was to be set right outside so that both of the doors were accessible...that was not the case. They set the tent up off center so everyone at the reception had to maneuver through one door. Also, the dance floor they installed was a raised platform (which apparently is not legal?). The coordinator at the carriage house said that she had never seen a tent set up like that and was very confused and concerned with the dance floor.
Also, it was early May in Massachusetts so you never know what the weather is going to be like. We order a heater for the tent so the guests wouldn't freeze which seemed logical. However, the heater does not work as well when the sides of the tent are not tied down!!! Apparently the guys that set up the tent told someone from the caterer that they would be back later to tie down the sides of the tent but no one ever came back! It was a bit windy that evening and the sides of the tent were flapping all over the place. We could barely hear the best man and maid of honor's speeches, even with a microphone.
After the reception I called and emailed the manager that I had been working with at least 6 times before I ever got a response. I was told that that his guys claimed they never said they would come back to tie down the sides, blah, blah, blah.
Anyway, I do not recommend Willis Tent Co. for any event - ever!!!
