As a proud Northern Wisconsinite from a small blue collar town, Ian decided to take off and seek a route much different than the typical job opportunities that overtook the north. Camera in hand and car packed to the brim, he took off to South Carolina in his pursuit of becoming a master of his craft.

With just about nine years already committed to the craft of photography, Ian has vowed and promised to learn everyday. Drawing inspiration from the works of Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange, Ryan Brenizer, and Reuben Wu, Ian has found comfort in many genres of photography. In a world that has provided photography to be easily accessible to the masses, he strives to shoot intentionally to create less, but better. Learning multiple formats Ian prides himself in taking photography to levels that requires professionalism and commitment. With advanced lighting situations, medium format systems, and a firm understanding of event planning and logistics, Ian strives to reach levels of professionalism that are too often lost in the ease of accessibility in modern photography.
