Cannot recommend Sarah enough! She was amazing to work with from start to finish and made us feel so comfortable the entire day. My husband and I are truly awkward when getting our photos taken & Sarah eased our nerves from day one. One of the things we loved most was how focused she was on capturing what the day actually felt like - not just posed photos. She leans into who you are as a couple & it’s so evident in the pictures! I can remember each laugh & tear from our engagement shoot & wedding day.

I don’t even know where to begin with Sarah because she was truly one of the biggest blessings on my entire wedding day. She’s not just an insanely talented photographer-she was basically my wedding-day guardian angel. I genuinely don’t know what I would’ve done without her. 🥺🤍

Yes, she captured the most beautiful photos (I already know they’re going to be STUNNING), but she also helped me with so many things that went way beyond photography. She helped me into my dress, adjusted my Spanx, fixed my hair when it needed it, kept me calm, kept me laughing…she even gave me her own energy drink when I started losing steam before the ceremony. Like…who does that?! She was there for me the entire day and night, and I’ll never forget it.

And then there’s her actual photography skills- unbelievable. My husband and I are definitely not naturals in front of the camera (we are awkward AF 😅), but she makes everything feel fun and natural. She got us laughing, being silly, being ourselves, and it’s going to show in every photo. Even in our phone meetings and at our engagement shoot, she was just SO easy to talk to. She has this warm, sunshiney, magnetic personality that just instantly makes you comfortable.

And it wasn’t just us-SO many of my friends and family kept coming up to me throughout the day and night saying how freaking FUN she is. She truly is the life of the party, and everyone adored her.

Sarah Nelson is amazing! We did our engagement photos and our wedding with her and all of the photos were unbelievable. I looked at her website and social media, reached out to setup a call - and the rest was history! I didn't reach out to any other photographers as Sarah checked every box and made me feel so comfortable and confident in what she could deliver. And she delivered that and more! Our engagement photos were magical and our wedding photos looked like they were from a magazine. Not to mention, Sarah is just an absolute sweetheart and so fun to work with! Sarah was amazing!! She was personable and we had a great connection from the very beginning. She actually helped me with a lot of planning like vendor referrals (HIGHLY recommend if you are trying to plan a destination wedding in HHI) and scheduling the flow of the day. Then, when the big day came, she went above and beyond expectations. She was prompt and kept us on time, and had to be fast to do that. We went to multiple locations and Sarah was obviously an expert at everything she did. She was great at handling the wedding party and any unexpected things that popped up. Because of her, I had moments that I couldn’t have even dreamed of.
She’s also insanely agile! We got married on a boat and I watched her climb, crouch, and reach without missing a beat.
Her eye for a good shot is unbeatable. She is worth every penny!!
