Going into our wedding, I did not want to be treated like "just another wedding" at another typical wedding venue. If you are lucky enough to have your wedding at the Inn (they only hold a select few weddings each year as they are not a "wedding venue") you will LOVE every moment of your wedding. Jim and Joanne were spectacular hosts for our wedding weekend in September of 2023 and we can not thank them enough for the time and effort they put into getting everything together. The luxury of staying onsite with our family and bridal party was extremely helpful. The food was AMAZING (as a Maryland couple Joanne hit all the boxes with the menu options)! The grounds are gorgeous. The setting is very intimate inside the Crystal Barn for the cocktail hour and reception. And, their pups are the best, especially Rosie :) We hope to spend an anniversary or two out there in the future.

My new husband and I cannot thank Joanne, Jim, and all the staff at Huntingfield Creek enough. Within the chaos of planning a COVID-19 wedding, they were the calm in the storm. Joanne and Jim were available at any moment to answer any questions or concerns we had about the day. Every bride is told, "There is always something that goes wrong on your wedding day," but that was not that case with Jim and Joanne. They truly delivered a remarkable venue with delicious food, extraordinary service, and breathtaking views. With COVID-19, they made sure all of our guests felt safe, confident, and healthy through extra precautions including masks, additional sanitation efforts, and spacing/timing of having dinner or drinks. We couldn't say enough about this incredible spot and we couldn't be more grateful to the Inn at Huntingfield Creek.

We recently hosted our Daughter's wedding at the Inn at Huntingfield Creek on 10/3/20.

While we live in Ct., much of the planning was done via the phone or by email. Final visits and preparation choices were made through visits to the site by the wedding couple.

Joanne and Jim could not have been more helpful and gracious throughout the entire process, especially during COVID!

They helped our daughter and her husband plan an outstanding menu, suggested local vendors, and were extremely patient as plans continuously needed adjustments through these unprecedented times.

The grounds are truly breathtaking and the perfect spot for a wedding venue. From Lavender fields, to paths leading to the bay, spacious gardens and trails, the ceremony site and quick walk to the spectacular Barn, all made for an amazingly serene and inviting venue. The beautiful backdrop provided a plethora of opportunities for memorable wedding photos!

The cottages, rooms at the Inn and Townehome are lushly appointed, exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. Our cottage was spacious with a large bedroom, separate bath area with shower and bathtub, as well as separate facilities. The living room had a fireplace to cozy up and relax, and the small kitchen area included all we needed!

Having the wedding party onsite allowed for not only a stress free environment, but ample time to set up and enjoy each other's company throughout the weekend. Guests could wander the grounds and easily meet up throughout the weekend. Of the seven cottages, two were designated for the Bride and Groom to prepare for the day.

The breakfasts provided were homemade, ample and delicious! It was wonderful to meet together on this joyous occasion. Everyone raved about Joanne's homemade coffeecake and berry bread pudding! There was more than enough food for all and ample space inside the Inn to accommodate the 30+ guests staying with us. There was no better way to start the wedding day, and then say goodbye to all the following morning!

Joanne and Jim are sincere in their attentiveness, warmth and hospitality. Phil, the site manager, is outstanding, as well as all of the staff who helped serve throughout the wedding. Everyone was present throughout the day, willing and able to help in anyway possible.

What's wonderful is that the happy couple can return to this beautiful place to celebrate their anniversaries for years to come!

We highly recommend Inn at Huntingfield Creek for a wedding venue, or much needed relaxation. We hope to return when we will have a chance to bike, kayak and walk the grounds in the future.

This place is absolutely perfect for a wedding! Ours was in mid summer and the grounds were in full bloom and stunning. The meal was amazing, thanks to Joanne. The service was impeccable- there was nothing more we could have needed or wanted.

Taking a step back, or in our case 17 months prior to the ‘big day’, you may wonder how it will
come together. You’ve chosen the venue, The Inn at Huntingfield Creek, and the on-site menu
options, made with local flare, will satiate all guest palates exceedingly so. The lovely, gracious
setting makes the visual imprint, of your big day, easy to blend into. Perhaps you’ve arrived
with a detailed matrix of vendors you’ll need or no clue as to what you will need. Not to worry-
Inn Keepers Jim &Joanne listen first, and that is key, and then ‘suggest’ via their years of
experience, resolutions.
We rented the entire place for the bridal party; parents and grandparents. If staying in nearby
hotels, a bus was prearranged for safe, round trip travel.
For our daughter and son in-law, they found ‘the’ place that surrounded them with family,
friends and the very best of nature’s audio visual enticements and accoutrements.
They got married, their way, thanks to the Inn at Huntingfield Creek.

Our wedding was here in October and could not have been more perfect! Jim & Joanne are great to work with and take a lot of pride in this beautiful property. My husband & I were looking for somewhere on the eastern shore where we could have a "mini destination wedding" and did not want a "time slot." Huntingfield fit the bill. Being greeted by the pups that live here sealed the deal! Our dogs were able to spend the weekend with us too! There were enough rooms/cottages for the wedding party and our families. The entire property is well maintained and updated. Many of our guests commented on how amazing the venue was. It was a prefect representation of us, with the water and the barn. The ceremony took place by the beautifully landscaped pond and the reception in the shabby chic barn. A stroll down to the dock made for breathtaking pictures. The food, prepared by Joanne, was also outstanding. Jim & Joanne were very helpful with every step of planning. We can't wait to return for an anniversary trip!

Just visit this place once, and you'll know it's perfect. The setting is unmatched - beautiful farm, sunflowers, lavender fields, bay view, fish pond, arbor, relaxing pool, luxury rooms ... it's a heavenly retreat. Plus, you get to hang out with Joanne and Jim, who are the coolest couple around. You can tell they do what they do because they love it - and they're good at it. This may be your first wedding, but it's not theirs! The dinner in particular went so smoothly, and Joanne's food is divine - plus you get to plan the menu with her, which is a lot of fun. They always got back to us promptly when we had a question, and were very available onsite the weekend of the wedding. And there were no last-minute surprises; the price was exactly as we had discussed on day 1. Do yourself a favor and book them now, as they only host a select number of weddings each year to keep the grounds looking beautiful.

Our experience at the inn was absolutely amazing. We started wedding planning about a year out and knew we would be planning it from across the country to make it easier for our guests.

As soon as we drove up the driveway we were impressed! Jim and Joanne were at the door waiting for us with their adorable pups. The grounds are impeccable. You can tell they take a lot of time, effort and love into their business.

Joanne helped so much! And was more than willing to point me in the right direction of DJs, where to rent everything and florists. When I came out in august with my MOH she helped with what was a good flow for the getting people fed and with getting drinks.

Jim was super sweet and my go to person about anything booze and fire related. And both cook incredible food!

On our wedding day the weather was unfortunately a bit too cold so Joanne completely helped with being able to move our ceremony inside and have everyone be comfortable and it was still beautiful.

This an absolutely incredible place to have a wedding. Our guests raved about the rooms! My mother in law swore she was going to stay there for a month she loved it so much. And the fact that it is dog friendly made it that much better!

There are a tons of places to take gorgeous pictures and Jim and Joanne are just gems! If I had to redo the day I wouldn't make any changes!

Jim and Joanne are incredible! We had the most amazing wedding weekend and the Inn at Huntingfield Creek. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the food is out of this world, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed. We knew as soon as we visited that we wanted to get married here. From the beginning, Jim & Joanne were upfront, friendly, and willing to give an opinion without being pushy. They gave us recommendations for vendors (who were all great) but didn't make us stick to their list. They worked seamlessly with vendors, some of whom they'd worked with before but some (florist, photographer, band) they hadn't. We didn't feel like we were just there to make them money (a sense we had at some other places we looked) - they genuinely cared about making our day special.

We loved having all of our favorite people (and dogs!) with us for the whole weekend, which gave us time to actually hang out with folks we don't get to see very often. Our friends & family raved about the Inn and kept commenting on how great of a spot it is. It was so fun to have family-style brunches every day...in no small part b/c of how incredible the food was. Joanne even made berry bread pudding on Sunday as a nod to our wedding day berry pies. The catering for our wedding dinner was so so good - guests are still talking about how delicious all the dishes were.

We can't recommend Huntingfield enough. We felt cared for and taken care of all weekend. Thank you, Jim & Joanne!

Hey, weddings are expensive, but the pleasant experience at the Inn at Huntingfield Creek was worth it. Our daughter, son-in-law and guests had a fabulous time! This is what truly matters after all the stress of planning and worry if you planned perfectly.
