We are thrilled with our engagement photos! Because we wanted to include our senior dog who isn't very mobile in our photos, we asked Iann to come to our house for our shoot. She was able to scope out creative locations in our yard that we wouldn't have thought of and made them look amazing. She was so patient and gentle with our dog, and got the sweetest photos of him. The photos were turned around super fast too. Couldn't recommend Iann enough!

We had a great experience working with Iann :) I was looking for a photographer for an engagement party and she reached out and offered an engagement shoot. We decided to work with her and do a session! This all happened right before we had to shelter in place due to COVID-19 and she was very flexible to work with our schedule, and to even to adapt as late as day of when I was worrying about a rash on my neck.

She offered some great locations that we close by and convenient for us and met us there. She was on time, nice and very professional! We took our photos in a garden in Palo Alto that was blooming. The garden looks even more magical in her photos than it did in real life! She adapted well to the bouts of sunset lighting that peaked through and also took beautiful shots in the cloudy moments in between. She lead the way and chose some of the great locations in the garden but also was ready to accommodate any suggestions we had.

All in all the session went very quickly and we walked away having enjoyed a fun photoshoot. She delivered the sneak peak the same night (2 photos) and a full album within the week (34 photos). There are so many that we love! There were a few variations in coloring but that was probably due to the actual lighting that day (both gloomy and sunset). Her editing is subtle but makes the photos look great and she offered to do additional edits if I wanted those as well.

Overall we had a great experience working with Iann Ivy and would recommend her!

Iann photographed our engagement last year. We were in a bind looking for someone at the last minute, and a co-worker saved the day by recommending Iann. I’d never met her but she was incredibly professional and easy to communicate with over email and phone about my vision and style for the shoot. She showed up on time and did an amazing job staying incognito until it was time to photograph the big moment. She even consulted on the best light and spot to stand for the photos before my fiancé got there! She sent the digital album to us within a week, and the photos were perfect! her prices were extremely reasonable for the incredible work she did. She’s also very LGBT friendly and helps anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. Would absolutely work with Iann again!!

Iann Ivy is an amazing photographer. She has the eye of a true professional and even under our windy and foggy circumstances she managed to pull through and go over and beyond with our engagement pictures. I would recommend her to EVERYONE in the San Francisco area looking for a photographer.

She offered impressive packages and a creative body of work with ideas for poses to draw from.
