He earned his bachelor's degree in religious education at Elon University in 1969, completed his master of divinity in 1972, and earned his doctorate in ministry in 1993 at Eden Theological Seminary.

thank you for the amazing time!
Rev. Jerry made our small and intimate ceremony quite nice and low stress. He met us at the site on time and with little pre-planning information. Jerry also made suggestions and led the ceremony vows, which made our day even easier and more stress free.
