About

I Do, Guatemala, is a professional Destination Planning Company located in Guatemala, and exclusively dedicates itself to planning destination weddings.

We are a team of professional wedding coordinators whose hand-on approach enables us to plan exquisite weddings in Guatemala.

Our passion for weddings make us as comfortable coordinating grand events as we are organizing small intimate affairs. Because we believe in the individuality of every couple, we limit the number of events we handle so as to offer personalized service.

Our goal is to give you the weddings of your dreams, without having you spend a fortune in the process. We can cover every aspect of a destination wedding, from arrival to departure, depending on our client’s desire. Do feel free to contact us so that we can create a package that best fits your needs.

While we are passionate about weddings, we are aware of the importance of other events in your life. We offer planning services for renewing your vows, anniversaries, sweet 16, showers and more... All you have to do is ask!

We, at I Do, Guatemala, believe the most important decision you make is who you will spend the rest of your life with; and the second most important decision is... Who your Wedding Planner is going to be.

Life Savers! Highly Recommend

We reached out to Diana and her team when we were in desperate need to help plan our wedding. We're live in the states and were having an incredibly difficult time trying to pull everything together and I Do, Guatemala immediately stepped in and made our dreams come true. They worked diligently to help us meet our budget as well as ensure we had everything picked out to make our day remarkable. They found amazing vendors and offered several options to choose from with expertise. We had 30 guests with children and everyone had an amazing time. The day of the wedding, they were on top of everything so all we did was just sit back and enjoy the moment, stress free. We cannot express how thankful we are to have them make our dreams come true and more. Photos to be attached when our photographer posts them.

Beautiful vision, disappointing execution and communication

My sister spent over a year planning her destination wedding, and while the venue itself was absolutely breathtaking, our experience with Diana Cianfarrille / I Do Guatemala as the wedding planner was deeply disappointing.

I’m sharing this to help other brides make informed decisions.

There were multiple issues throughout the experience that added unnecessary stress to what should have been one of the happiest days of her life. These included the wedding sign having the wrong date, the promised white aisle carpet not being there, personalized blankets arriving without the agreed engravings, the welcome party location being changed last minute, venue lighting not being updated until the bride had to remind the planner herself, and poor communication regarding the antique getaway car issue — we were only informed there was a problem when my sister was literally walking over for photos.

The DJ experience was also disappointing. He was rude, did not follow the requested playlist, and did not create the atmosphere that had been discussed and carefully planned.

There was also a flower issue with the bridal bouquet not matching expectations, though I want to be fair and note that the florist themselves were lovely — this appeared to be a communication breakdown on the planning side.

What was hardest to witness was that instead of the bride feeling calm, supported, and prioritized, there were multiple moments where she felt added stress on a day that should have been about celebrating her.

I understand unexpected issues can happen in weddings. No event is perfect. But professionalism, communication, accountability, and making your bride feel cared for are not optional when you are marketing premium wedding planning services.

I cannot recommend I Do Guatemala / Diana Cianfarrille based on this experience, and I hope this helps other couples ask the right questions before booking.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
