This scenic setting is located just minutes west of the University of Northern Iowa and is an easy drive from nearly anywhere in Cedar Valley and surrounding areas. Nearlyweds and their guests will enjoy all of the charm and character of a barn wedding while also being close to hotels and amenities to make the day effortless for both the wedding party and guests.

Facilities and Capacity

Howards Farm offers couples the option of holding their wedding festivities outdoors or indoors as they prefer. They can enjoy the acres of pastoral land and exchange their vows amid the greenery of the orchard and gardens. The outdoor patio has high-top tables with seating as well as a fire pit to chase away chill from the air. Inside the event barn, the couple and their guests may enjoy a roomy and newly remodeled space. With room to host up to 120 of their guests, a couple can anticipate a memorable occasion with dining and dancing. Bookings include the use of the Bridal Cottage, a "tiny home" space next to the barn, as a get-ready room in which to relax and prepare.

Services Offered

Since opening in Fall 2023, Howards Farm has hosted wedding ceremonies and receptions, including elopements. It is also available for other wedding-related parties, such as engagements, showers, and rehearsals. There is no caterer requirement on these premises, which allows couples the freedom to select their own vendor for their wedding dining.
