Heather planned our Christmas Morning Breakfast. She designed a beautiful tablescape and menu, and was an absolute pleasure. She always made time for us whenever we texted or called, and made us feel like we were her only client. She is extremely professional and exceptional at what she does. We hired Heather to help plan our family Christmas Eve celebration. From the minute we spoke with her, we knew Heather was the planner for us. She was both delightful and creative. After brainstorming ideas and themes, we landed on “Tacos and Tinsel”. We wanted something fun, but also classy. We knew that would be a challenge, but Heather pulled it off seamlessly. While the taco pinatas on one of the Christmas trees were a huge hit with the children, the grazing table was an absolute statement amongst the adults! We couldn’t be happier with the results. HMK Event Designs was by far the best decision we made regarding our wedding. Heather and her assistant were so helpful, professional, and kind. They literally set the entire wedding up, from the ceremony to the reception. My wife had a very specific vision of how she wanted everything, and Heather brought her vision to life. She kept us all on track, as far as sticking to our timeline. I have said to my wife, numerous times since our wedding on 10.21.23, that HMK was THE most important vendor we hired and that we couldn't have done it without them. Highly recommend! I cannot say enough about Heather at HMK Event Designs. We hired her for our small, intimate wedding. From our first email, to the day of our wedding, she was absolutely incredible. Her attention to detail was like nothing I have ever experienced(and I'm type-A and slightly neurotic!). Heather brought my vision to life. She set everything up exactly how we wanted. She and her assistant were professional, kind, attentive, comforting, smart, and such hard workers. They dealt with all of our vendors throughout the night. During dinner, my husband looked at me and said, "Heather was the greatest hire for the wedding, we couldn't have done it without her". I agree. Of all of our incredible vendors, Heather was the best decision we made. To be able to be in the moment, fully, during what is a fairly hectic day, was priceless. Heather allowed us to do that. I am forever grateful.

Heather can plan ANY event - big or small, luxury or within a budget, adult-only or family-friendly - and any event that Heather plans will always be a winner. I met Heather in her previous role as Director of Events where she not only planned weddings and luxury adult-focused events, but family-friendly events like Winter Holiday Parties, an overnight Camping event, July 4th Bash, Summer Camps, Pool Events to name a few. As a mother of 3 young kids, I was always paying attention to the sentimental details - the activities for children, the crafts, the decorations, the food, the entertainment. There was always something for every age child. When it came time to planning my last First Birthday party for my 3rd son, I knew I would be hiring Heather to help me execute on the "First Down" Football themed First Birthday. Heather's expertise of wedding planning made her the perfect person to help me create an upscale event at my home with family-friendly touches. She listens to her clients - considers all their wants, priorities, budget and makes excellent recommendations. For my event, Heather created a front yard Football-style combine obstacle course, hired an Inflatables company for Soccer Darts, decorated the yard with amazing balloon displays, took care of hiring the linen and tent rental company and handled all the logistics with the caterer. and Oyster shucker. We created a Popcorn bar for children, a Game Face table with necklaces, tattoos and Football accessories, and created a craft table with Football themed crafts. She even spent hours researching bands and other performers that we considered at the start of planning. Heather made sure to emphasize to all vendors what my priorities were (i.e. execution against the theme) and I saw that come through in the details of the catering, bar service and even signage. When we had to move the event indoors at the last minute, she took control of the situation and found a place for everything. Despite the shift inside, our guests said they have never been to a better party! She is meticulous in her details, very communicative and prompt with responses and she makes you feel like she has all the time in the world for whatever is a priority for you. Heather can do it all - weddings, social events, community and corporate events and even family milestone events like our Birthday party. You'll be thankful you hired Heather.
