About

Beautifully restored for your special day, Historic Firehouse No2 is the perfect location for a gorgeous courtyard garden wedding, framed by the columns of our Greco-Roman Folly sculpture, "Perchance to Dream." Rain in the forecast? It is simple for Firehouse Staff to move inside and arrange our beautiful double-door archway inside the main hall for a beautiful ceremony. You always have a backup plan at Historic Firehouse No2!

Your guests are sure to enjoy the unique and intimate character of the original Firehouse No2. With gorgeous amber chandeliers, polished floors evoking black marble and vintage inspired light fixtures and furniture are softned by draped sheer fabrics and soft, dimmable lighting. Mary and Paul have owned and guided the restoration of this beautiful site since 1995 with an artistic eye to a vintage and eclectic approach. With 20 years event experience, you're in good hands here!

In the last few years, the "Grooms Room" has opened upstairs. Vintage lighting fixtures were completely restored and fitted with environmentally aware LED lighting. It is now a fun lounging area. A saloon, private bathroom, fooseball and ping pong tables it's perfect for the groom and all his friends or, when combined with the adjacent "Bride's Room" by opening the beautiful french doors, it creates a second-floor event space that can be added to the main hall.

Historic Firehouse No2 is proud to have led the way in maintaining a rigorous recycling program. We continue to work to maintain a small environmental footprint, implementing LED lighting and zoned heating & cooling. We also provide our Green Team to every rental at no additional cost. All paper, plastic, glass, cardboard, aluminum is recycled and food scraps are composted or picked up by local small-scale farmers to feed to their livestock.

Historic Firehouse No2 must be seen to be appreciated! You're welcome to drop in any first or third Wednesday of every month from 4pm to 6pm for our Open House or call to schedule a private showing. Staff is always available to answer any questions you may have, book a date, show you around and provide the benefits of their years of experience hosting events in this unique, historic venue.

It was a beautiful setting and Mary and Amanda followed through on everything. A great place to have a wedding and a reception. Amanda was there on the day/night of the wedding and we couldn't be happier with her service

The Firehouse is such a gorgeous venue. We didn't do a whole lot to the place and were told by all of our guests how beautiful the wedding was. Mary and crew are very accommodating and gracious. We had people on-site all day to help us and everything ran smoothly! I did forget which door I was supposed to enter the courtyard from--I went out the back side door instead of the large side doors! Also, the bridal and groom's suites were huge necessities and huge hits. The guys were grateful for something to do while the ladies got ready.

Not only is the venue gorgeous, but Mary was super sweet when I called her the next day and found out I forgot my phone charger. I am just a bridesmaid, but she offered to mail it to me (I live over an hour away) without any charge. So nice of her and less stress now on my shoulders finding a way to make it back there. Amanda (I think was her name) was also so helpful the day of to all of us. So thank you ladies so much for your hospitality!

Mary was thoroughly accommodating for our ceremony and reception. The decor of the venue made it so easy to decorate for our reception. We thought we wanted a barn, but after walking into the Historic Firehouse, we fell in love. The prices are flexible so you can change dates and times the pay a little less. But when you consider most of the decorating is done, that is a huge cost saver. Amanda, Jay and Mary were all so helpful and so nice. We had the most perfect ceremony outside and reception inside. I feel that we chose the most perfect spot. The location was spot on. We also rented the loft apartment across the street and it was so convenient to prep for the wedding and walk across the street. We loved every minute of our experience. Thank you Mary, Amanda and Jay!!

This was a wonderful place for my wedding. Mary and Amanda worked with me for everything I could possibly need. The were very flexible with the needs for inside and outside. Not only is this a beautiful venue, but it has everything you could want. It has a designated gift area and photo booth. It has a bar and the perfect spot for a caterer if you do a buffet style menu. They were always open to me coming down if I wanted to look at something and were extremely accommodating. I would recommend this place to ANYONE!
