From the tasting to the follow up meetings and phone calls...they got it right. We were concerned because we had such a large guest list but the Hillside delivered. Their staff at the wedding was totally professional and very attentive to our needs and wants. The food was so great and there was definitely more than enough to go around. We were very pleased with everything and Mr. Miele's kindness and attention was greatly appreciated.

The staff is personable and professional. The food was plentiful and tasted great. We had Herb baked chicken and Carved top round of beef. Each was filled with flavor. They also catered the rehearsal dinnner where we had meatballs and baked ziti. They were great. I would recommend them. They also cleaned up everything to perfection.

Hillside Catering did such an amazing job at our wedding reception! All of our food choices were so delicious and far exceeded our expectations! Our guests were so impressed with the food and we received many compliments about it! The dinners were served very hot and were cooked right on site! David even came out and asked how everything was. The servers were dressed in suits and created a very elegant atmosphere...they made our guests feel very well taken care of. I can't say enough good things about Hillside...they are the best and we were VERY impressed and wonderful to work with!

What a wonderful experience! Hillside was very flexible with the tasting time, as I was from out of town! The menu was selected to reflect fall and our Irish wedding theme! They did an excellent job. The service was professional and the food was delicious! I would recommend them to any bride to be!

The food at our wedding was fabulous and the staff was very professional. My only complaint was that the bartender couldn't improvise!

I was highly impressed with the quality of service, food, and attention to detail that Hillside put into planning the food service for my wedding. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the entire process and was very up front with me about all costs. I would absolutely use them again for future parties!

I was pleasantly surprised by Hillside Catering. When my reception venue told me that I HAD to go through Hillside for my reception I was, well to be honest, angry. I have been to weddings that they had catered that I thought wasn't very good. I can't believe how professional and helpful they were and how great and i mean great the food was! They did an awesome job!

We signed on with Hillside in January for our wedding in October and I have to say that it was the worst decision that we could have made for our wedding day. It was constantly an issue with them, from picking the menu to them returning phone calls to "forgetting" about our meeting with the event person to choose our menu.
I honestly have to say that I would never recommend this company to anyone else, I should have known when they forgot about our first meeting and it took over an hour for someone to show up and talk with us. We never got a tasting of our menu like we were suppose to get and the prices must have changed about 5 times. Each time I would talk to them the bill would go up, even though our number of people was going down.
Although the owner would call back, he never really knew what was going on. It was always an excuse that he didn't have my folder in front of him, so he would make things up and tell me what I wanted to hear, until he realized he couldn't do whatever it was that he was saying.
Finally our wedding day came and I thought that it was going well, the food was well ok... the bread was hard, the water was warm and the food that should have been hot, was COLD. My other issue is that with every wedding I had ever been at, the head table is served and this never happened. The other thing was there were about 6 people there from the catering company several of my guests asked them for water and they were told to go to the bathroom and get water from there. This is so far beyond what is acceptable I can not even describe.
My only reason for the 3/5 stars for the quality of service would be that their office person who came into play about July was great about getting back to me, if it wasn't for Stacy I would have walked about from this catering company months ago, even if I would have lost a lot of money.

The food and service were not even mediocre. Some food was overcooked, yet served cold. Some was under cooked. It turned out that they had other events that day, and so our event did not garnish their full attention. For what the final bill came out to, it was disappointing to say the least.
