The conservatory and gardens of High Hand Nursery are BEAUTIFUL. My fiance and I got a great deal for this venue because we were the very first wedding reception they hosted--the guinea pigs, you could say--so I'm not sure what the price is now, but I am sure if you have the money, it would definitely be worth it. First of all, the conservatory, which serves as a restaurant during the week, is already furnished with very nice tables and chairs, and completely decorated with floral/plant centerpieces (it is at a nursery, after all) and right now, there are gorgeous trees inside the building, which provides a uniquely natural ambience. All the guests at the reception commented on how beautiful it was--it really was magical. The actual place where receptions are held is in a glass conservatory, surrounded by the garden-like greenery of the nursery and an authentic vintage-style fruit cannery, which has some serious old-time charm. Even if you don't pick this place for your wedding venue, it's definitely worthwhile to stop by and explore this charming venue.
