Facilities and Capacity
Our guest capacity is up to 100 guests. The original hotel was opened in 1926 and quickly became a haven for upscale clientele. Due to this growing popularity, a sister property was constructed and opened in 1926. The new Heathman Hotel has lasted to this day as an iconic fixture of the city of Portland. This 10-story building of brick and concrete drew on elements of the Jacobean Revival architectural style with dark wood paneling and trimmed stone. As well as a haven for travelers, this property became a hub for local culture. Its mezzanine hosted the popular KOIN radio station from the 1930s to 1950s. Over the years, this hotel has been renovated and updated with contemporary elements. Today, it features several event spaces, both traditional and distinctive, for a couple's festivities. The largest of these areas is the Broadway, with 1,608 square feet of event space and a capacity of 120 guests. The other rooms suit more intimate gatherings, these spaces being the Symphony, Opus, Fremont, Morrison, Sellwood, and St. John's.
Services Offered
The Heathman Hotel hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions, including elopements. It is also available for wedding rehearsal dinners as well as engagement parties and showers. The staff can assist with on-site accommodations, catering, and more.
