We can not recommend Hannah photography highly enough. Megan and Jacob photographed my sister's wedding a few years ago and we were so impressed with the results that we hired them for our own wedding summer 2024. For both occasions, they were prompt and easy to communicate with; committed to understanding and capturing the couple's vision; and were a joy to have present throughout the wedding day. They were flexible with timing when our schedule changed and were very willing to go with the flow during the busy wedding day. It was wonderful to have two photographers because they could capture events that were happening simultaneously (ie. bridesmaids in one room, groomsmen in another). They also accommodated requests like a sparkler exit and special photographs (as in certain poses, specific groups of people, sunset timing). We chose not to do a first look, and they were very efficient in completing photos of the couple, families, and bridal parties during the cocktail hour so we still had time to enjoy mingling with guests. Their product is stunning. Without drawing any attention to themselves at all, they capture the moments that matter, from candid, intimate photos with friends and family to beautifully crafted shots of the venue, ceremony, decorations, etc. Because of Hannah Photography, we will forever be able to cherish the memories of our wedding and to relive that wonderful day. When chatting with friends pre-wedding, several recommended taking extra care when choosing a photographer. "You're going to be spending so much time with them on your wedding day....You don't want anyone who's going to crash the moment and make it a photo shoot...You only get one day to take these photos, so make sure it's someone really skilled..." etc, etc...

Well, you truly cannot get any better than the Hannahs. When I found Megan and Jacob's portfolio online, I immediately fell in love with their work. They capture the moment in such a striking, beautiful way; I felt like I had gone to the weddings they pictured on their website! And then I had a call with Megan and realized what wonderful people they are. We knew they were the folks to trust with our wedding day.

I was nervous that my excitement would be overwhelming, and I wouldn’t be able to remember all of the specific details of our wedding day. That worry melted away because each time something special happened, my brain would think “OH! I hope I can remember this…” and I’d immediately hear *There was Jacob or Megan somehow magically in the exact right place, capturing it without affecting the genuine moment at ALL. They were invisible AND supportive at the same time.

Not to mention the seriously astounding photos they took. We will cherish them forever, and it's impossible to pick a favorite. You two are the real deal, and we cannot thank you enough. For anyone looking for stunning, thoughtful wedding photos... go with Hannah Photography!

Megan and Jacob were a joy to work with for our wedding! I knew as soon as I checked out their portfolio that they were the ones we wanted. They bring such unique angles and have the eye to capture striking and heartfelt moments. Their system made things easy and streamlined in the runup to the big day, so I never had to stress about anything photo-related. They were lovely and inobtrusive on the day - always there but never in the way. We were absolutely thrilled each time we got more pics back (from a sneak peek right after the wedding, to a mini gallery a few weeks later, and then the full gallery a bit later)! Even my Dad (who is notoriously hard to please and fancies himself a bit of an amateur photographer) was blown away by their work. And throughout everything, they have just been incredibly kind, generous, and thoughtful. You definitely want them for your wedding!

As anyone who has ever planned a wedding will tell you, it all goes by so fast. From the start, my husband and I were determined to make photography a priority in our budget. We knew that we wanted timeless photojournalism, and we knew what we wanted to avoid—artificial poses with trendy Instagram filters. That search led us to Jacob and Megan Hannah. Of the hundreds of decisions we ultimately made about our wedding, hiring the Hannahs was truly one of the best! Our wedding day was a perfect mix of tears and laughter, grand spectacle and quiet intimacy, and somehow Jacob and Megan managed to capture it all. With their cameras in hand, they were able to freeze every fleeting moment so that we can relive it time and again. Our pictures are vibrant and real and brimming with life. We were left completely in awe of their talents. Finally, we just want to mention how nice they are as people. Remember, your wedding photographers will be with you throughout the day, so feeling completely at ease is essential. Jacob and Megan made everything simple. They could not have been more accommodating throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced us to reschedule our wedding not just once, but twice. And on the day itself, they were not only organized, efficient, and friendly, they were unobtrusive when it mattered most, allowing us to live in the moment and fully enjoy the day. We relaxed, knowing that they would preserve our memories for us. And they did. Perhaps that is the best compliment we can give Jacob and Megan. They captured our wedding exactly as we remember it, down to every last emotion.

I cannot recommend Hannah Photography enough. Not only are the photographs from our wedding spectacular, but Megan and Jacob were incredible to work with. They captured every moment in the most stunning way and always made us feel at ease. They moved through the day so perfectly and made sure to photograph every moment from the most important aspects of the ceremony to the candid dance shots. We loved every minute of working with them and would give them more than 5 stars if we could!

The Hannah's work is unreal and on top of it Hannah and Jacob are kind, professional, responsive, and thoroughly energized by the work they do. They were completely un-intrusive but every time something magical and memorable happened - there they were front and center. How'd they keep doing that? The photos themselves were stunning. They captured motion, laughter, love - all candid and provided a calming presence to the day. I also appreciate that they did the hard work of sorting through the images and picking their tier 1, 2, and 3 shots. I whole heartedly recommend them - you will not be disappointed.

Right from the beginning, they were extremely responsive and I loved the idea of a husband and wife team being a part of our wedding day. One thing I REALLY appreciated was that they checked in numerous times, including a few days before the wedding to just let me know that everything was all set and they would see me at this time and this location on the wedding day. You have no idea how nice that was! They were actually our only vendor that did that, I had to check in with all our other vendors and make sure everything was all set. With Jacob and Megan, I never had to worry about a thing.
Their photos are SO stunning. My husband and I loved that they are documentary style photographers, but they also got every single photo that we requested in a timely manner. We were even able to make it to our cocktail hour which was great! Jacob and Megan were also non-intrusive, we didn't even notice them even, though they were everywhere throughout the day, capturing every special moment. When we got our wedding video is actually when I noticed Jacob and Megan subtly. They would capture one moment and rush over to a different area to get different angles. This showed me how truly hardworking they are and how much they care about every photo that they took. Creative, gorgeous, breathtaking photos were the result. I've had family members tell me that they are the most beautiful wedding photos they have ever seen.

Megan and Jacob are absolutely the best - they exceeded our expectations in every way. They are professional, creative, incredibly hard working, and as an added bonus, are lovely to be around.

We booked them a little over a year before the wedding and despite it being such a long time away, they continued to check in with us to get to know us better and to help us with any questions or concerns that might have come up.

On the wedding day we hardly noticed them at all and yet they managed to capture every special, intimate, and hilarious moment that occurred. Prior to the wedding we had discussed the list of people we wanted photographs with, they made sure to have that list on hand and checked them all off before the end of cocktail hour. During the reception, they blended right in and captured each moment in a unique and heartfelt way. The only time we noticed them was when they came to bring us outside so they could get an incredible silhouette photograph of us in front of the full moon - which has become our favorite picture of the night!

Going through the gallery of photographs was like reliving the whole day over again. They have a documentary style of shooting that captured the emotion of the day in way that will help us remember this day and that feeling forever. We cannot recommend them enough!

Between Jacob's friendly personality on the phone and viewing albums of his work from weddings he shot at our venue, it was a no brainer to go with him for our special day! Jacob was delightful to work with from the very beginning. He was responsive in getting back to me either through a phone call or email. He is a super nice guy who is laid back and will do anything to make his clients happy. For people who could be a little camera shy he certainly makes you feel comfortable at all times. I am super picky about photography and I often look for a certain style. Jacob exceeded my expectations and more with his work. It's beautiful, authentic and creative! Megan and Jacob are the BEST! We absolutely loved their style and knew that they were the perfect team to capture our day. They went above and beyond to drive me and my husband to a covered bridge 30 minutes away just so that we could have the most magical Vermont wedding photos.
