Ordered our invitations and paid to have them sent directly from Hallmark...better that we expected. Affordable and professional. All parties received them within the accpetable time frame.

When you think about standard wedding invitations, what a ripoff and waste of resources they can be! I am very conscious of quality and know that how things look and feel sets a tone, but I also learned that I could create a beautiful SAVE the DATE and wedding invitation simply by going to hallmark.com. What I created (I am a writer and designer so maybe that helped) was so much better than anything I'd seen in the numerous stationery books and the cost was unbelievably low! I didn't do any wasteful inner and outer envelopes and had hallmark.com address and mail my "save the date" cards to save time and postage (as I was in Germany at the time with all guests in Ohio). They also have the option of just addressing for you and then having them delivered to you to mail, or just printing them up and shipping them to you so you can address and stamp them yourself. For the wedding invitations, that's what I chose so I could use wedding stamps and calligraphy on the envelopes. We used our photos on the cards to make them personal and memorable and they turned out so well, I am thinking maybe I should go into the card business. Don't just look at the wedding invitations. We used other cards for our purposes that opens it up to more options.
